Love this particular store in Dickinson, especially since the remodel. The staff is amazing, they keep the place humming even in the dinner rush. The chicken is just better here, even than some other Churches locations I’ve been to.

Horrible service from the drive through girl on 2/22 around 3pm. Ordered the same exact thing I always get and pulled around and was told to wait for my order so I waited extra and when I got home I didn’t get my side. Called and the same girl who took my order answered my phone and was snippy with me telling me I said my order wrong. I’m certain I did not. That girl needs to find a different job if taking chicken orders is too hard for her. The least you could do if you mess up is refund my order and not argue with the customer saying “she took the order and knows she didn’t mess up”. You clearly did. Get a new job if this is too much for you.

Why would you have me pull up in a tight drive thru for my food THEN give out food to the car BEHIND mine?
My car was blocking the way for everyone to leave, and the car behind me started honking. I wasn’t parked there because I wanted to. Some man came out of the honking car, angerly saying to move because he has “places to be”. As if I wanted spend my afternoon there like a stub on a log after a 10 hour shift. This was supposed to be a quick dinner.
Ridiculous. This location is hit or miss, and today they completely missed.
I probably won’t be back if I see the same crew here. Even, my refund took longer than usual as well!

We choose Churches Chicken when are in the mood for fried chicken. Cost is reasonable, the chicken is crunchy, large breasts that we get in two piece combos, the okra is awesome and fried just right, and often we make 2 meals from 1 combo. Ownership changed and the food went back to how we had been accustomed to.

All I can say is, with the people this place has to deal with, they stay focused and hospitable. People coming in, nightgown, no shoes on, demanding free sides. It was depressing. The manager and the cashier handled the matters well. Good job team.

Staff unprofessional and rude to costumers. I had two orders for two different people to deliver and I got the firs on time but was told it’ll be a 10 minute wait for more chicken and I patiently waited and took 30 minutes before they did the order an when I nicely asked the employee rudely said I need to wait and they weren’t doing refunds then proceeded to take extra time making the order while talking and laughing it up instead of focusing on having the food ready . Unprofessional and knowing the rush hrs should be better prepared with chicken cooked but instead wait and prepare and cook the chicken after multiple orders taking their time making people wait both inside and drive through. They make you park to wait so they can restart the clock which is false and cheating just to get a better rating but the services proves that rating completely false.

There was no pepper on the special 2 pc they said they were out so we asked for a biscuit the manager refused she was very rude I would have paid a resnable price for it but since she said no I said let’s go elsewhere never go there again. Change your manager not to professional the date I was there was 2/03/26 5:00 pm. And the music was very loud though I was in a bar.

The Manager needs an attitude adjustment. Every response from her was met with a surely response. I asked for 2 legs a la carte other employee gave me a 2 piece meal I appreciate the courtesy of trying to save me a couple of bucks the chicken is for my grandson and he only likes legs when the manger was getting the order together she 1st refused to give me the 2 legs but then said next time the order gets rung up like that it’s a leg and thigh I didn’t order a 2 piece feast I ordered 2 legs The manager needs a reevaluation to determine if she should be leading a crew of 3 thats why Texas City is no longer in business The Manager needs to think about her responses before she opens her mouth if she does not know how to control that then customer service is not a job for her. People were waiting in the drive through for ten minutes and they left because they weren’t being helped the manager does not work well under pressure
