Toro Toro Pan-Latin Restaurant by Chef Richard Sandoval celebrates the vibrant flavors and convivial dining culture of Central and South America, offering a twist on the contemporary steakhouse with Pan-Latin flavors from our Rodizio-style Churrasco and creative shareable small plates. In local tradition, all dishes are intended to be shared family-style and paired with classic Latin cocktails – mojitos, margaritas – all hand-muddled with fresh fruits, herbs and vegetables to create a celebration of Latin cuisine.

An amazing experience at this restaurant, from the service to the flavors and presentation. Above all, every dish is a perfect blend of taste and craftsmanship. The cocktails are also delicious – likely the only place in Malta where I’ve had truly high-quality ones. The restaurant is kid-friendly, offering a children’s menu and activities to keep them busy while waiting. Beautiful interior and excellent service!

Latin American food from the hands of the master. The food was surprisingly affordable and the quality and the plating was exquisite.
Their wine selection is amazing. We went for a Chilean wine: the Seña. That will set you back a few hundred, but it definitely was worth it.
This wasn’t a fancy dinner, it was an unforgettable experience.
The service is unmatched and the food has Sandoval all over it.
Something to nag about?
Well, the music was a bit too loud for my taste. That, of course, is a personal observation. Others may find it exactly right, I guess.

Toro Toro in Malta has truly been one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. More than just providing a service, they offer a complete and memorable experience. We went to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and from the very first step inside, the entire team made us feel genuinely special.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing—every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully prepared. A special thank-you to our waiter, John, and the restaurant supervisor, Natalia, who took exceptional care of us throughout the evening. Their attention to detail and friendly approach made the celebration even more perfect.

We had a wonderful experience at ToroToro. The service was extremely attentive — our table was discreetly cleared of water spots and crumbs throughout the meal without ever feeling intrusive. It was also great fun to watch the waiters arrive with the bar cart to serve drinks and mix cocktails right at the table.
The staff were very friendly to children, and the pineapple-shaped drink vessels were an absolute hit. Even the kids’ dishes were of impressively high quality; the Fish & Chips, made with truly fresh fish, stood out in particular.
The food overall was excellent. The octopus was perfectly tender, and every dish was beautifully prepared. The décor is striking and imaginative — even the restroom is worth a look.
Altogether, a highly recommended spot.

✨ Absolutely stunning place! The atmosphere is vibrant and full of Latin spirit — stylish décor, lively music, and a warm, welcoming vibe. The food is beyond delicious — every bite bursts with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The tacos and guacamole were simply divine! Warm welcome received already in Mercury Tower lobby before being escorted to the lift which they called for me.
I attended private party held in the bar area (the right side of the restaurant). Went to the bar, staff there was polite, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and clearly experienced with mixology. Due to being on antibiotics I asked for virgin cocktail and received super tasty spicy mocktail with passionfruit, with very good price if 5 euro. Then I asked about food and they called waiter for me. He informed me they created special nibble menu for the event, but I can also order anything from their usual menu. While still at the bar he asked me where I am going to sit and in just around 10 minutes brought me there my dish. It’s truly impressive that at such a crowd of people he remembers who ordered what and where they sit.
Dish (beef cheeks with polenta) was just superb and that comes from someone who is not easily impressed. Beautiful presentation, good portion and you could clearly taste all the ingredients and all the flavours nicely worked together. Later on they found me in a crowd and asked for payment – again impressed they remembered everyone what they had and we were all free to focus on enjoying the party without first searching for a waiter to pay.

Absolutely loved the brunch at Toro Toro! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The **service was top-notch** – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The ambiance was vibrant and stylish, striking the perfect balance between lively and relaxed. The music set the mood beautifully, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere without being overpowering. Most importantly, the food was spectacular – fresh, flavorful, and creatively presented. Every dish we tried was a delight. A truly memorable brunch experience – can’t wait to come back! Very good, actually excellent, food. Julian was a fantastic server.
But the music is very loud making conversation difficult, the actual place is not very aesthetically pleasing-there is a massive metal pipe (I think the Mercury Towers structure & a design choice) running through the restaurant & the place is already showing a few signs of wear and tear.
