First time visiting San Francisco, and I’m so glad I found The Little Chihuahua on Divisadero! I ordered the Garlic Shrimp Bowl with an extra side of fried plantains.
The shrimp were juicy and well-seasoned, and the smoky chile salsa that came with it was packed with flavor—just a little spicy, but in the best way. It added a perfect kick to the dish. The plantains were also really good.
This spot made a great impression on me as a first-time visitor. Tasty food, chill atmosphere, and friendly staff. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

Excellent choice for “healthier” fast-casual food. I loved the plantains being an option and the self-serve salsa bar! I experienced fresh food and pleasant service at this restaurant on a recent visit to the city.

Nice little place with quick food and more options than other places. I needed food while visiting my husband at CPMC-Davies. It was open later than other establishments and only a 6minute walk. The food was taken to-go however if things were different eating inside would have pleasant. The lighting was nice too. Especially after being under hospital light.

A really cozy Mexican restaurant. They have awesome flavors, and an assortment of salsas to add to your dishes. Also you definitely need to try the Horchata! It’s super refreshing.

The food was so good, but the thing that blew us away was that the online menu had a simple switch to only show vegan options! We have never seen that anywhere else and it seems like such a simple idea but it was revolutionary! We didn’t have to look for the small V next to the vegan items, and thanks to this switch we ended up finding a dish that we hadn’t noticed before that was soooo tasty (the fried platanos bowl!)! And it was a lot of food for the price, fed two adults for two meals! So good!

I ordered the Garlic Shrimp bowl. Though I was impressed with the looks of the meal, I was disappointed in the taste. For it being “garlic” shrimp, it lacked garlic and/or the flavor of garlic. My sister and nephew both ordered the Shrimp Diablo tacos that was supposed to come with a side of rice and beans. They forgot to give them their rice and beans and the description of the tacos said it would come with strips of poblano—it didn’t. The corn tortillas tasted old and the meat—also lacked flavor. The only salsa we had that had flavor was the one on my plate. While in San Francisco, I won’t be choosing this place again to eat Mexican food.

The restaurant is nice and clean. The decor is interesting and really cool. But the food, it lacks big time in Mexican flavors.

Huge thank you to Andrew for all of your help and catering at our recent large event. I have been a huge fan of your food, but catering with you all? Every event organizer’s dream. So appreciated your team and and was a breeze. Guests loved the food too and will be sure to use again. Cannot recommend enough.

I love these folks! Best tortilla soup and Mexican salad in the hood. I go in sometimes, but mainly get delivery. Great price, great quality. Love it!

Pretty awesome tacos place in the neighborhood! We tried about 5 different tacos, they were all so good. But what stood out for us were – Al Pastor, Soyrizo and the Salmon. Definitely coming back for those! The chicken tortilla soup was also pretty good just that it could have been more hot. It was just lukewarm when it got to us!

I upgraded my quesadilla to a super so it would come with guacamole and sour cream on the side. Didn’t come with either. Quesadilla lacked any kind of salsa or sauce and was very dry especially since I didn’t have any guacamole or sour cream that I paid for.
I also ordered a full pint of Mexican potatoes and they gave me a pint container barely half full of potatoes. So I got a half pint for the price of a full pint.
Mistakes like this are very disappointing with delivery orders as they cannot be easily fixed and you end up having a very disappointing meal.
I had high hopes for this place and was hoping to find a new regular spot to order from but unfortunately this will be my first and last time ordering from this place.
