I went here for lunch after my eye exam, and I just have to say, the Molcajete is to die for! I’ve never had it before, but I knew I would love it, as I love sautéed mushrooms, onion and tomatoes, Monterey Jack cheese, and Jalapeño. Definitely recommended it in all forms, whether thats eating it straight from the bowl, in a taco with the tortillas they provide, or using the tortilla chips to scoop it out!

Everything was good. The margarita was HUGE! The cheese pull on the nachos was amazing. Our servers took great care of us. If you are like my husband ask gor the house salsa/hot sauce. It is super spicy.

Went for dinner, and the service was a bit slow to start. Service got better. All the food was good. Nothing great, but nothing terrible. Food came out hot and fresh. The meat was a bit dry, not bad. It’s a solid Mexican restraunt in roxboro.

Update 4/2024: Still excellent service and delicious food
Delicious Mexican food in Roxboro NC. Very friendly service and a very pleasant atmosphere with colorful decor. I tried the chili verde and my friend had the pollo diablo. We’re both high temp spice lovers so the heat was intense and gave us a sweat. Side of jalapenos helped! Very tasty chips and salsa. Really enjoyed the meal and definitely recommend

I went to Toreros with my family food was good up to the point my youngest found a baby roach in his food!!!! Veryyyyy pissed because when we told the server he tried to act like he didn’t see it and I told him not paying for that meal….ruined our night. I’m not even giving them 1 star. Should be ashamed of themselves. I didn’t take a pic because I lost my appetite. The picture I did take we hadn’t seen the roach yet

Favorite Mexican place hands down! I’m a foodie and I have been to several Mexican restaurants in several different states always looking for one to least come close to the authentic taste that can be found here. Nobody comes close! I visit every time I come home and always finish my meal with the amazing desserts! Bring your appetite for an authentic hearty meal, the portions are huge and the staff is great!
