TLDR Tasty tacos and sides, affordable beer and cocktails, drive through, ample seating, quick and friendly service. Let’s state the obvious: the tacos are over priced. $6-8 each bumps you into the $20-30 bracket just for 3 tacos. No drink or side. It’s also more than $8 for chips and cheese. In my opinion, the expensive tacos should cover the chips and dip There are combo options. The bowls seem to be a bit better deal, but, cmon. It’s called Torchy’s TACOS, and I came for tacos. I’ll give them this: my beer was $5. That’s a few bucks cheaper than most other places. Despite cost, I’ll still give Torchy’s 5 stars over 4 for their customer service. My friend had his tacos before I was even done ordering mine, and folks here are always smiling and super helpful. Overall, as long as you’re ready to spend a few more bucks for it, Torchy’s is a great spot for some one of a kind tacos served up with a smile!

I’d like to sing the praises of the manager and staff at our neighborhood Torchy’s at 6325 East Hamden Ave. in Denver, Colorado. They have once again proved to value the community they serve.
Every year at this time, our neighborhood hosts a family friendly Mardi Gras marching parade. Kids, dogs, bikes, wagons, music…
We march around the neighborhood throwing beads and small trinkets to the onlookers.
Then, in the afternoon, we march ourselves up the road as some 25-30 of us descend on our favorite Torchy’s.
Manager Christopher Vargas and his staff welcomed us in.
Our costumed Krewe enjoyed delicious food and tasty drinks for several hours.
The service and smiles from Chris and his staff was excellent.
We really appreciate Torchy’s being part of our tight knit neighborhood.

The food is good, when it’s done right. The problem with this location is the service has continued to get worse. The kiosks always seem to glitch in some way. Food tends to take a really long time, even when there aren’t that many people in the restaurant. We one time waited over 30 min to get even queso. We recently got street corn and it was burned. They also got our take out order wrong, which always frustrating when you get home. There is one older guy, a runner, who works his tail off and he’s great! But, otherwise it feels like a lot of workers who just don’t seem to care that much. We’ve been going there for a couple of years consistently but probably will be avoiding it from here on out.

Love this place. My favorite restaurant outside of the east coast. Amazing food and service. Always leave stuffed. Love the atmosphere. Not 100% recommended if you can’t handle spicy, but even if you are sensitive, you should be able to find something. Absolutely love this place, only have positive comments about this place. You want Mexican food, this is the place to come, highly recommended it, and they should have wherever you are. My personal favorite taco of theirs is the fried avocado, one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. YOU NEED TO COME HERE AND TRY THIS PLACE!!!

I started working in the area about 4 months ago. Been coming here for atleast 2-3 times week. I have get amazing service and the workers here are great every time. Spencer behind the bar is a rock star. I use to have to ask for extra sauce and now when he sees me, he just gets some with me asking. Cayden is fantastic as well. The cooks, the manager, Mike and Marcela (the guys bring out the food) everyone is a great help and friendly.

Me and my partner went here for lunch to try sompthing new. The food itself was good and fresh but for two small tacos and and two fountain drinks it was roughly $30 when we were ordering we were attempting to get a margarita which required a employee password we stood at the front for about 10 minutes looking around for an employee the only one in sight was the bar tender after standing around waiting we ended up canceling the margarita and getting a soda. There was also a women behind us who was trying to do the same who also had no help she also just ended up getting a glass coke bottle (whitch are behind the counter) no one came to help her ither so she had to go around by herself to get it the food was good but for the price and lack of service dont plan to visit again.

Zero cashiers on site. Now we order on machines, and it takes 4x as long as ordering through a cashier. Wastes my time. Then we get asked if we want to tip 20%, 25%, or 30%? Give me a break. If this is a new Torchy’s model being rolled out nationwide, then I’m done with Torchy’s.

Immaculate. Don’t usually review chains but Torchy’s is goated and I wish there was a location in SLC. But we told them we just finished our drive from Utah and they gave us a free taco and free drinks. Mad respect. As always, get the trailer park tacos TRASHY style. It’s the only way.
Thank you Torchy’s!
