Finally got to Top Corned beef after reading several positive reviews. First off, the place doesn’t have much going for style points BUT, makes up for it in a huge way with its corned beef and pastrami. Ordered a Reuben half corned beef half pastrami and WOW! It was absolutely delicious!! Great portion. The meat comes more in chunks rather than slices which I think made for a great sandwich. An excellent seasoning was also shaken on the sandwich to give it extra flavor. The sauerkraut on the sandwich was actually coleslaw which I think also made me enjoy the flavors and texture even more. Nice crunch! Both meats were juicy and had just the right amount of fat left on for my taste. Lots of great pepper taste on the pastrami. Other choices were Italian beef , catfish sandwich, smash burger special among other items. I will definitely return for the corned beef and pastrami again. The only down side I see is the 12pm opening time. It’s a bit late for lunch time for me and I usually dine out for lunch way more than dinner. Still a must try if you’re a fan of corned beef or pastrami!!!

First time visit and Rick was super nice. The corned beef was amazing. Some might find it salty but it was perfect for me. My wife’s Italian beef was highly rated and next time she would do “full dipped” rather than the lightly dipped I had gotten her.

We were originally going to try the reuben and nachos, but the employee mentioned Sunday specials. After a quick glance, we decided to try the smashburger and chicken with rice and gravy.

Warm, friendly and charismatic people greet you upon arrival. We waited for our food and the owner was so engaging! When we tasted our food we were blown away! The corned beef was juicy and flavorful beyond belief. The bread of the sandwich had just the right texture. We will definitely be going back soon and highly recommend this place to anyone. Best corned beef! Reminds me of the style of Katz Deli in Manhattan, magically transported to Milwaukee. Done to the tenderist perfection, cut with skill, with a little mustard and a pickle. A few seats at the counter, and classic blues playing on the radio, the service was great. My wife had a grilled cheese, and it was every bit as awesome.

I’m trying so hard to give this place my business. Internet info is scattered. One place says they open at 10:30 and I got there at 11:15, they said closed until noon. I go somewhere else. I see they do soul food on Sundays and open at 11, so I get there at noon…closed. I call the phone number…”voice mailbox has not been set up yet”. I’m not saying conform to all the social norms like a standard website with hours of operation, or a phone number that says the name of the business and hours when no one can answer, or even posting the hours on the door, but these might make it easier for people to try your food and give you some money.

We came here for the first time today. Been wanting to try it, and now got that chance and can say glad we did. I’m not sure his name, but he gave good recommendations and great service. The food was . Will definitely be back. Best corned beef we’ve had.
