This was my first experience with Top China restaurant. I did not know what to expect so I ordered two lunch entrees. They come in a what appears to be a small covered bowl. The food is cooked to order and is very hot in temperature. I was able to only eat the bourbon chicken. I have the teriyaki chicken for another meal. I did not know how the food would be…… I thought it was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Top China has horrible customer service. I placed a phone order for Shrimp Rolls and Sweet & Sour Shrimp. They messed up my order and gave me Sweet & Sour Chicken & regular Egg Rolls. I called back & explained that they got my order wrong. The lady that answered the phone was very rude. She argued with me & told me it was my fault, because she repeated the order twice. She also told me that I would have to bring the food back & pay the difference. I did not have a problem returning the food or paying the difference. However I live 30 minutes away plus it is concerning & unsanitary to take food back that has already left the restaurant. I will never eat here again.

My niece has eaten here before, and the food was great! They give a nice portion of food. However, today, when I went to order, they messed up the order but that’s OK… The problem is that they also burned my food! It was a to go order and I live an hour away so, by the time I got home and opened up my Mei Fun… You could smell the char burn on it and you can taste it in the noodles! The shrimp egg foo yong I ordered probably taste nice without the sauce, but I put the sauce on like I normally would only the sauce taste like salty, hoisin sauce, which doesn’t go with egg foo yong at all. I have eaten Chinese food most of my life even when visiting China and I have to say this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! Go in my food, one time, and I will never come back so all of you may not care. This is a customer who will never return.

Their honey chicken wings are amazing!! As well as their pepper steak. Customer service and the way they speak to people needs a lot of work.

This was actually my favorite Chinese food place in Montgomery. I had never had any problems before, but this recent time I went there was a long piece of straight dark brown hair in my food. My hair is black and curly. Definitely will never be eating here again.

Staff was neutral, which is nice because they were fast for the large order I had. The food was amazing, and everything the food is served in is microwave safe.

Had szechuan beef and fried dumplings. The beef actually had some spice to it which is a rarity in these type chinese takeout places in the state of Alabama. The dumplings were very good also.

Its definitly a take out place first and foremost. I dont think I’ve even seen anyone sit down inside to eat, but the food is top quality and beats out most other chinese shops by a wide margin. Food is always fresh cooked and hot when I get it and I have never had any issues with ordering and picking up my food.

I don’t know how they make a living. Their portions are large at a low price. Others will give you half as much. Get the beef broccoli. It is my favorite.
