Tootsies was awesome. They were very busy but I still got excellent service. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The chicken and waffles had a unique twist with apples and cinnamon. I can’t tell you which I liked more Dennys French toast or chicken and waffles.

Second time there, and just as great as the first time. Home Made is what I would use to describe this place. The Eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, Hash Browns were just the way I like them, and the Hot Sausage was tasty.
As usual, got a side of Sausage Biscuits and Gravy and it did not disappoint. In fact after trying so many around Pittsburgh, I’d put it in Top 10 with plenty of Sausage, and staying with the theme Home Made Biscuits. Great Prices as well and friendly attentive staff.

The food was good. Everything came out hot and cooked just right. The best thing In my opinion was the biscuits and gravy! It’s homemade sausage in the gravy and it really makes a world of a difference. My only negative comment is the wait. We arrived and waited 25 minutes at our table before anyone attended to us. After ordering it was another 50 minutes. I was fairly warned by the locals about the long wait but didn’t expect this.

This breakfast / lunch diner has a good variety of breakfast foods and also lets you customize your meal for a reasonable price. I’d recommend getting here early to have Kalyn’s Steak and Eggs, because it sells out early. The restaurant doesn’t have onsite parking but street parking is easy to find.
