I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and prepared perfectly. I the double stack burger and it exceeded my expectations.
What truly made the visit exceptional was our server. Mark his professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine friendliness made the entire meal even better. He checked on us at the right times, and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find service that outstanding.
Overall, the combination of amazing food and an exceptional server made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend I’ll be back and when I do I’ll be requesting mark as my server!

I was in town from Raleigh, NC visiting my parents, who are full-time residents of The Villages, and decided to come to TooJay’s at Sumter Landing for Christmas morning breakfast. It honestly couldn’t have been a better way to start the holiday.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Even on a busy holiday morning, everything ran smoothly. Our waiter, Erich, was absolutely outstanding. He had several tables at once and somehow managed to give every guest his full attention. He never stopped moving, stayed upbeat the entire time, and made sure everything was perfect without us ever having to ask. Markus helped out too. A wonderful team.
The food was excellent — hot, fresh, and exactly what you want on Christmas morning — and the service truly made us feel taken care of. You can tell this location has a strong team, because everyone we interacted with was friendly, efficient, and clearly enjoys what they do.
It’s easy to see why this TooJay’s is a favorite among locals. When I visit my parents again, this will absolutely be one of our go-to spots. A fantastic holiday experience from start to finish.

We have been going to this Toojays for about 20 years. We have noticed over the years the food was not as good but tonight that all changed. The food, the service, it was al fantastic. It was so nice to go out for a family meal and everyone get everything they asked for exactly how we wanted it. Mark was a great server, really friendly and made sure we got everything we needed quickly. Also kudos to the kitchen staff the evening of 12/2, you guys really made our dinner great.

Kalvin was an absolute delight. He was very attentive and friendly. Our food came out to perfection. He recommend the Cuban Grilled Cheese which was phenomenal. The Manager Nick was pleasant as well. He stopped by to check on us to make sure we were accommodated. Also the other server Meri was a warm spirit with a beautiful smile. Kalvin mentioned to us that the cooks names were Brian and Will. They were excellent, I loved my food. I will definitely come back and recommend Kalvin to all of my friends and family

We enjoyed a great strawberry salad. The 3 stars for service is because there is no signage when you enter. We didn’t know whether to order at counter and be seated. We ordered at counter, sat down then learned we should have waited to be seated. Put the Wait to be Seated at the front door, not past the counter which is apparently for takeout orders.

After a lovely walk alongside Sunter lake, we decided to have lunch at Toojay’s. The resturant wasn’t too busy and we were shown to our table and greeted by Mark M, who throughout our time was tentative, polite and professional. We both order our meals, which arrived in good time; one cobb salad and one egg salad, both were fresh and delicious. After which we had cake; chocolate and coconut, again delicious. During our time, Mark M ensured our coffee remained topped up and our needs were met. Would definitely return and recommended.
