Pictured is the fajita chimichanga and burrito special
2024: Prices went way up. $67 for 2 meals and 2 kid meals with 1 drink and 2 kids drinks. Food was great! Service was terrible. They were busy, but our waitress ignored us or forgot about us. No drink refills, never checked to see if we needed anything. I had to flag her down to order after waiting 20 minutes. Had to flag her down to get boxes and our check so we didn’t sit there all night waiting for her to never come. She brought boxes but no check. So after 20 more minutes after requesting our check I got up and went and requested our check again. State street location is much better.
Waitress was nice. Better than the place down the street from two nights ago. I got silverware without asking. And the drink was automatically refilled without asking.
These waitresses need just a little more training. Should return to the table half way through the meal and ask how it is going.
The food is definitely expensive. The huge serving and great taste helps but inflation is out of control.
I didn’t think to take photos until after I ate the first one. Photos show how large the meal is with about 1/4 gone.
The two good things that stood out to me were; my server Rene’ he was very polite, quick and professional. The house margarita is yummy the small size is quite a big beverage and reasonably priced.
The cons; the food is mediocre(decent sized portions) that are too high in pricing for the quality and inauthenticity of the dishes.
The floors were sticky(maybe the cleaning solution or just plain dirty from spilled drinks?)
They were understaffed (as most restaurants are these days) which left several dirty tables and booths which ultimately takes away from the atmosphere.
Overall, I was disappointed ☹️ with food and atmosphere. Thank goodness for Rene’ and the margarita!
