I have ben going here since I was young, back when the meatball sandwich had actual meatballs. We came here about a month ago and the sandwiches were skimpy but still good. Tonight we got some meatball sandwiches and this time the filling was so thin that all you could taste was the bread and ketchup. So disappointing!
We also ordered a Tony’s combo pizza and that was an absolute disaster. The pizza looked like it was thrown into the box, it was also cold even though it just came out of the oven… didn’t seem like it was fully cooked.
What a shame that this place has continually declined in quality and it also seems like the pricing has gone up as well. I don’t think I’ll be back again

Just went here for the first time and we’ll certainly come back often. Pizza is really good and the sizes are plentiful. Meatball sandwich is a bit different …not actual meatballs but has pieces of meat and a surprisingly delicious blend of sauce and condiments. Staff was engaging and friendly.

Tony’s Pizza – A Timeless Ogden Classic

Tony’s Pizza in Ogden, Utah, isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a piece of my childhood. Every time I come back to town, it’s a must-visit for me and my family. There’s something special about stepping into Tony’s; the warm, welcoming atmosphere, the incredible staff, and of course, the unbeatable Italian food.

The pizza? Perfection. The crust is just right, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh. But let’s talk about the rigatoni—hands down, one of the best in Utah. Perfectly cooked pasta, the kind of sauce you dream about, and a flavor that feels like home. And then there’s the vinegar salad—simple, classic, and absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you completely satisfied, yet somehow always wanting more.

Tony’s is more than just a restaurant to me. It’s a tradition. It’s memories of great meals, laughter, and family gatherings. Whether you’re a first-timer or a longtime fan, you cannot go wrong with Tony’s. If you’re ever in Ogden, do yourself a favor and experience this local legend.

Everytime I come up to Ogden I’ve gotta go to Tony’s. The purposely limited selection of toppings and nostalgic vibe inside are a great experience and very opposite of the common fast food pizza chains.
The end of the crust is a bit thinner than most pizza joints so it’s a little different and it’s not overloaded on toppings which is easy to do these days.
I really enjoy the homemade sauce and the cheese blend they use.
Classic pepperoni is an absolute must for your first time but I’m a sucker for the olive options.
I wouldn’t come in expecting a fancy pie but the pies are timelessly classic.

Spaghetti was delicious. Salad was generic (lettuce only) and had an over abundance of dressing. Would be nice to have the option of other dressings. Also, senior menu would be great. Service was great this time. But we had come at a quiet time of day. We’ve have been here when it was busy and left as we were seated but never waited on.

Husband loves the pizza. I like the meatball sandwich. Pizza was good but my meatball sandwich was not what was expected. I ordered it mayo and cheese only… not what I got. I got mustard no meatballs it was pieces and the bread was burnt. We will be going to lagoris next time. Paid way too much for our order to be this un satisfied with the food. Gross!!

It’s been several years since I have been here. The food used to be good and it has changed quite a bit, The meatball sub had no meatballs on it!! It was basically sloppy Joe mix! The atmosphere is the only thing that hasn’t changed and in which it should as it had not been updated since the early 90s the service was also not to par as we ordered side salads and we never got them, also the server never filled up my drink, Tony’s had so many misses this last visit but I guess I will always have the memories as a kid enjoying Fridays nights eating pizza and picking songs from the jukebox they use to have, I will keep those memories and not return to Tony’s

Got the meatball sub and an order of ravioli. Idk about the ketchup and mustard they put on it. We liked that they kinda break down the meatballs so they don’t pop out of the roll. They do mention the ketchup/ mustard on the menu, just thought I’d try it. I’d probably go without in the future, just has that funny taste to it. Everything else was great food was out super quick

I wish I could say more positive of my experience as I love applauding restaurants like this but it was very noisy. I kindly asked 3 different times and two servers to mention to the noisy table of being considerate of others and I got attitude and indifference from them as if I was disruptive.
The pizza was good I enjoyed the type of cheese and the small pieces of green olives gave it a yummy unique flavor though I dont like green olives by themselves. Bread could use more seasoning but was yummy and I could add my own. The gentleman at the register was not validating or sincere at helping with a concern. This most likely is my last visit here. If noise doesn’t bother you or you dont expect good service it wil probably be pretty nice. The food came out quick.

The pizza in this place is tasty and the place looks good and clean however the service was only ok. My mother in-law asked to be seating somewhere else and the guy quickly told her that there were not other table for 5 people available. He did not even look and there were so many other tables that could be for 5 people. The garlic bread is actually very good and the price was good too so that is why I am giving them a 4 stars review but I believe there is room for improvement with the service. Overall, the food is good for the price.
