Just went through the drive through and ordered over $30 worth of food and drinks. Waited over 20 minutes for the food to come out, only to be told they could not take a $50. We had no other bills available and no other way to pay. They were completely unhelpful and made us hand all of our food back, which I assume went straight into the trash, and we were sent on our way.

I understand not taking $50’s for a small order, but they would have had to give us about $15 worth of change back. Again, we had no other way to pay for our food. I can’t believe wasting that amount of food on an order that was large enough that taking a $50 would not deplete your drawer, after an extremely long wait, and then being rude about it too. I’m just shocked.

Went to get two hot dogs, drive through person kept asking if I wanted chili on it, I said no.3 times then i was accused of yelling at her. No! I was not yelling I was talking loud, so she could hear my order, she apparently couldn’t hear or understand.
I left

I went to a different one, cars were waiting and when we got our order. The dogs were warm/cold the fries were old

First time trying sonic food and had it horrible. One. The Coupon said 2 corn dog for 99 cent. One coupon per visit. Limited for two coupons. I wanted two orders of the coupons but couldn’t because the worker said “since it’s already two in the coupon, you can only use one coupon per visit” doesn’t make sense. I guess they didn’t understand or the writing need to be changed. Cause anywhere else do it differently. I went to Arby’s and brought a coupon for 2 potato cakes and I want to use the coupon twice in one visit. I came out with 4 potato cakes. Two. I should’ve just went to Walmart or Sam’s club and get a larger size and better looking corn dog for better price. The corn dog I received is dark meaning it’s over cooked or reheated again. So I took the stick off and fed it to my dog. Which seems that they weren’t a fan of it after eating only half of one corn dog. Thanks sonic!

Normally pretty quick but aren’t blast supposed to have whatever ingredient you ask for mixed in to it not just sitting on top if I wanted a bowl of vanilla ice cream I would have gone to Walmart

I order the new sonic spicy cheese steak sandwich but instead they brought out the original cheese steak sandwich. When I let them know they had me waiting 15 minutes for another one and still brought the wrong sandwich. I let them know again but this time the lady had an attitude. It took the third time to bring the right sandwich. By this time I had already ate my onion rings and pickle fries which was okay by the way. They didn’t even try to apologize for making it wrong three times or even offer a refund just for the sandwich or something free on the next visit. I like eating at Sonic but it will be a while before I go back.

I don’t even know what they do at this location, I didn’t receive service after waiting for 15 min, which isn’t that long if they were busy or something but there was literally only one other customer in the drive through. Anyways I decided to go elsewhere.

So I pull up to the last kiosk on the right, hit the button 8 times, nothing…then I see others getting their food that came after me. Not one person said that the one I was pulled into was broken, nor is there a sign indicating this. So I finally ask one of the servers that was bringing another persons order out is this one working…she said “that one is broken”…Why in Gods name don’t they notify the customers that its broken? A sign perhaps? I went ahead and pulled into another one (stall 8 this time) and finally placed my order. The carhop that brought my food out (Eboni) was nice, and greeted me so no complaints there.

The onion rings were waay over cooked, almost burnt, so I requested a new one, I tried to eat eat them initially, but I couldn’t, and really shouldn’t have to do that…the 2nd ones they brought out were better, but were mashed together so I just I just delt with it…I’ve been to Sonic before in Macon GA area, and have had perfect onion rings, so I know how they should be cooked. The sandwich #4, was pretty good, so no complaints there, also the Strawberriy limeaid was also good.

My overall experience was a 3 out of 10…

First of all, throw the entire location away. Went to the drive-thru at 10:30 a.m on a Saturday. After waiting there for 11 minutes (yes, I timed it) for someone to say something, I ordered a large French Vanilla Cold Brew. The guy said ” we ain’t got french vanilla”, and so I asked what flavor they had. He said “NaN!” Just to verify I said ” you don’t have any cold brew?” Him: “NOpe”. I said okay, give me a large black coffee, to which he replies ” we ain’t got no coffee”. … Fast forward 2 months. I ordered a Bacon Toaster Sandwich and a large Fench Vanilla Cold Brew on the app. After waiting at the stall a ridiculous amount of time, a woman brings out my sandwich and says ” we don’t have cold brew. What else you want?” I was already charged for the cold brew- which is more than the drink I got- so I just left with my sandwich and a sweet tea. I have called corporate on more than one occasion for this location. I have clicked on the worthless link that the so-called “Owner” provides, sent an email and the only thing I have gotten out of it is wasted time.
I hope they don’t even leave the generic BS reply they are going to put after this review.

I’ve never left a review before, but this place is so poorly operated that I feel the need to speak up. I used to work at a Sonic in Louisiana, and we were one of the top five in the state for quick service. Coming here to the Sonic in Columbus was a complete shock. The microphone at the drive-thru cracks in and out, and it’s almost impossible to understand what anyone is saying. When I tried to respond, they just yelled back, making the whole situation feel uncomfortable. Many of the stalls don’t work, and the staff is consistently rude.

The food always takes forever to come out, and by the time I get it, it’s cold. The worst part is the way the employees talk to customers like we’re the problem. I’m honestly surprised this location hasn’t been shut down for such poor service. On top of all that, I had to spend half my break just waiting for them to acknowledge me, and then when my order finally came out, they tell me they don’t accept tap payments. This should’ve been communicated either through the intercom or with a sign, not after I’ve wasted my entire lunch break. Definitely will not be returning to this location.
