We were happened to be in the area and were craving for sushi, so we came here around lunch. The restaurant was busy but we were seated immediately. The service was good and prompt. Our waitress checked on us several times to refill our water.
– Agedashi tofu: good crispy coating on the tofu but I wish they gave more sauce.
– California roll: tasty. The portion was good and the rice layer wasn’t too overwhelming.
– Shrimp tempura roll: good. The shrimp tempura was crispy but it was kinda short since the end of the roll didn’t have shrimp tempura.
– Naked salmon (no rice): good. The sauce was very good and not overwhelming. However, the salmon sashimi pieces were a bit fishy.

My husband and I visit Sushi Mon almost weekly because the food is great, reliable, and the service is wonderful. We adore our servers. They remember our orders and just bring us our usual down to the water with lemon, extra ginger, and side of Sriracha. There are some servers who have worked there for over a decade and one almost 20 years! They must be doing something right if the staff stays that long.
I usually get the salmon sashimi and salmon roll. The salmon portion is so generous that I leave with a full belly. I do also love the Lion King.

Headline: looking for a sushi boat with a wide variety of items that include non-sushi? This is your place.
I’ve been on a sushi boat kick lately, so when I see it on the menu it was definitely something the group is going to order. The restaurant is located in a pretty standard strip mall location but when you enter you get a restaurant that is definitely for more of an eastern theme. Lots of seating and the staff was willing to let our group choose our spot.
We ordered Sake and the sushi boat. While I prefer to stick to strictly sushi, this is really a great choice for those that prefer the non raw fish items. The wide variety makes it so that everyone in the group could be happy. The portion and price was pretty good and our group of four left fufilled.
The staff was extremely friendly and got us our drinks and order really quick.
If you are looking for a good varied sushi boat that includes a lot of non sushi items, this is your place!

Loved the fresh food here. Service was awesome as the girl attended to is at least 20 times checking on us and if we wanted something more. Prices were reasonable or towards the lower end.Tried the alcohol based drinks and they were yummy. Interior decoration was nice.edamamme was good by itself and the gravy was good with rice as well.

Sushi Mon has some decent rolls for a reasonable price. Not the place I would go on a date to but for a quick dinner or a more local spot it’s not bad at all. The rolls have very provocative names which is kind of funny. I like the “That’s what she said”.

Furthermore, the vegetable selection appeared to be of substandard quality and unappetizing in appearance. A great family friendly local sushi joint. It’s a little run down but the food is always good, and service is quick. This place is our go to last minute or weekday. Our favorite is the “take me a selfie” and the kids bento box is a perfect sharing size for 2.
