An amazing Filipino Barbecue place hidden gem inside 99 Ranch Market!

Just moved to Corona and was in dire need of Filipino food wherever that may be, this time it led me to ranch 99. Coming from the bay the restaurants were lacking inside ranch 99, but this one was good.

The wait might be a bit long but it’s because they grill to order. So it’s recommended that you order over the phone in advance. The food is tasty and the service is good too.

Grilled Swordfish was bad! The smell and taste was awful! Maybe the fish was expired, please improve or take it out the menu!

We were told about the 20-minute wait for the tuna collar but that did not stop us from trying it. We placed our orders and went around 99 Ranch while waiting. It was worth the wait; we did not get disappointed. Tuna collar was cooked through but still remained moist. We also had the Razon-style halo-halo, they were good. I’m not familiar with Razon’s, but the halo-halo here still turned out good even without a scoop of ice cream on top. I swear it must be the shaved ice – finely shaved, close to a powdery texture. And, it had a lot of macapuno strings, too. The mini bibingka could use buko strings but they’re good as is, fluffy and moist.

Tony bbq is located inside 99 ranch market. Whenever I go to the market, I always stop there for lunch. This time I got the salmon head with rice and it was delicious. The salmon portion was pretty generous and definitely work the money. I will continue to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Come here weekly , Nes is very sweet and goes above and beyond for customer service. The price is same price as Waba Grill and they give you way more food than Flame Broiler or Waba Grill and it tastes better too and it’s less wait time! I also prefer the Tony’s Barbecue over the 99 Ranch Food Kitchen. If anyone has common sense they will come to Tony’s Barbecue instead of Waba Grill or Flame Broiler. More Food and more Affordable price!!
