Hello hello! My family and I traveled 2.5 hours to eat here after my hubby saw a YouTube short claiming this was the #1 burger joint in New Jersey. It was definitely busy when we arrived! We actually felt a little bad for the cashier/server — she was running the show all by herself, taking orders at two kiosks, running to the back for the food, and delivering food to tables. She handled it like a champ though — GIRL, YOU ROCK!
We spent about $80 since there’s no kids’ menu, but in the end everyone’s tummy was satisfied. Was it worth the long drive? Personally, no — but I can absolutely see why it’s a hit with the locals, especially compared to the usual fast food spots nearby.
My daughter and hubby were full and happy on the long ride home, so that’s a win in my book. I definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you’re in the area!

Wowza! After an intense morning of birdwatching at the Edwin B. Forsythe NWR, we stopped at Tony Beef for lunch. A friend of a friend of a friend etc., told us about these legendary burgers and they were soooo right. the lovely, sweet, kind and helpful TAYLA greeted us warmly and really made our experience better because of her fantastic cheerful attitude. The rules prohibit us from flirting with her, but honestly I’d rather flirt with ERNESTO the cook because this dude knows what’s up! No frills, just quick ordering, and quick service with amazing delicious food. They have about a dozen different burgers and you can also build your own. If you like burgers, DO NOT miss this spot! We were so happy with the food that we didn’t get any pics of the burgers, which would delay our consumption anyway.

What an outstanding, artery clogging experience in the best way possible We initially went because we saw a video of the French onion burger (served with an au jus), and ended up getting two others that we liked even more – the Meltdown (think grilled cheese & burger combined) and a monthly special that I don’t quite remember the name of (maple apple bacon jam?). Fries were solid, and milkshake (seasonal, apple cider donut I think) was amazing.

This place is an instagram viral gem waiting to happen. The burgers are all over the top in quality and flavor and you can keep adding on to your hearts desire. Everything is amazing! It’s is a gluttonous dream come to life.

This was one delicious burger. The burger melted in my mouth, unlike any other burger I’ve tried. The meat was very tender; however, it was lacking any beef taste. It was simply delicious and caught me off guard for this reason. Most burgers will have a greasy beef taste, and this has neither much grease nor much flavor. No complaints. It all just has me very curious now! Maybe this is just something different and excellent. Great job creating a one of a kind burger. The facility could use some extra life. Keep doing your thing, Tony!!

Friend told us about this place. We really enjoyed . Was already talking about coming back and picking another burger. While eating our first one. Only suggestion is add side pickle and good coleslaw. Can’t wait to try your shakes. Wife loved th Swiss mushroom burger. Wants French one next.
