I’ve been to several Tom’s locations, and this one just doesn’t measure up. The food was decent, but nowhere near the quality I’m used to from the other Tom’s. It felt like everything was just… passable, not memorable.
The service was the real disappointment. It fell well below expectations. Honestly, I’ve had better service at a 3‑star Denny’s—and better food too, which says a lot. There was no sense of attentiveness or care, and it definitely took away from the experience.
Overall, Tom’s Burgers 26 needs to step up both its service and food quality if it wants to match the standard set by its sister locations.

Well i eat here every week with kids. And the food is very delicious well cooked and the portions are good price is right. The Manager KARINA is Fabulous and gives great customer service and she has her hole team working the way it should be. They are all very professional and polite good family oriented restaurant.

The WORST. Today, Wednesday January 7 2026 at approximately 1:30 pm I arrived at Tom’s restaurant, 1805 W Avenue J in Lancaster with two guests. As we walked in the music was loud enough to make it difficult to hear, and at the counter placing our orders I had to ask the female order taker what she was saying to me several times. Three orders and $52 later we picked a table that didn’t have dirty dishes on it and waited for our order with our drinks. While waiting, I asked one of the workers if they could lower the music because we were having to raise our voices to hear each other at the table. There were about 5 other guests in the restaurant at the time. Then a female server brings 2 of the 3 orders, and the order with the steak had a side of white dipping sauce that was literally dripping from the side of the plate onto the floor, and across the table to the person sitting furthest away. The server walked away and we sat waiting for the third person’s order – a WAFFLE – which arrived just under 10 minutes later. No person came to wipe the sauce off the floor or across our table (whose job is that … the customers??) and to top it off, we were NOT GIVEN ANY UTENSILS. So there we sit after paying over $50 for 3 meals on a Wednesday at maybe 1:45-ish in the afternoon with maybe 8 customers TOTAL in the place, with white sauce still on the floor at our booth, and now having to ask for utensils. Finally I asked for someone to wipe the sauce off the table. The sauce on the floor remained as we left. And the whole time we sat there with the “table number stand” which was not removed from our table when the waffle was finally delivered. I guess everything is the customer’s job when the boss is gone? This was the WORST experience I’ve EVER had at ANY food establishment, and I will be telling everyone I know about this 100% DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMERS. We have been regulars at this particular location since they first opened, and I have told many people about this place for YEARS, and I will now be telling everyone about the absolute neglect of the staff who worked on this day. After years and years of faithful patronage I will not be back.

Just walked out after getting horrible service. We ordered biscuits and gravy, when we received the food the gravy was cold. The plate was taken to the register and the only option we were given was they could put it in the microwave. When we said we didn’t want it warmed up in the microwave but rather a new plate with the gravy actually heated, the response was “the microwave is how we do it”. That was surprising but it was more her tone that made the visit unpleasant. It was our first time in this Tom’s and definitely our last. It’s crazy that this is what’s acceptable here.

The breakfast food was good and plentiful and the coffee ☕️ was good and hot. I enjoyed my scrambled eggs and hasbrowns. I really liked the sourdough toast. Also had a half order of french toast.

I went through the drive through with ONE car in front of me and it took 30min!! SERIOUSLY? made me late for an appointment because what kind of drive through takes 30min. and when they gave me my food they had no care in the world it took that long and NO they were not busy AT ALL. pathetic.

The only thing I don’t like, is that they don’t give you an opportunity to put a tip in your card receipt, so if you don’t have cash, you can’t reward employees for the good service they provide here.
