Another great iconic restaurant that has been here for a very long time. When we had off-campus lunch back in the day, we would come here. They still have the 2 for $10 Chicago Hot Dog Special, fries and a drink. No Ketchup allowed! However, what they really rock out on is… The Italian Beef sandwich. It’s big, packed full of meat, add motz or provolone and some Gardinera – Delicious. Mr. A’s was #1there gone. So, congrats your now the #1 Italian beef in my books for the area. Awesome and friendly people in there. Brings back high school memories every time I go there. Glad to see them still going strong. Thank you again. AAA+. See you all again soon. Take care.

With all the knowledge we have today for health purposes all employees making food should be wearing gloves. Today only one employee was wearing gloves. I assume it was the owner handling everything plus the food being prepared with only bare hands. Not to appetizing or healthy to me. I will be trying another store in the future.

I’ve been going to this place nearly all my life and it’s always been great; everything I’ve ordered on their menu has been good. The prices are cheap and you get a lot of food. Their hotdogs and pizza are good but my favorite is a regular cheeseburger. It’s like a better version of Burger King’s Whopper. It has similar taste because they don’t skimp out on the ingredients. They always include plenty of lettuce, onion, pickle, etc. on the burger. If I’m being picky I’d say the inside of the restaurant is a little uncomfortable (cushion-less seating, cramped eating space) but again, if I’m going to Tommy’s I’m looking for good, cheap food- not a sit-down restaurant experience.
