VERY DISGUSTING GYROS. VERY SALTY filled with preservatives, fake beef. It was never great but used to be better. Now its impossible to finish because its way to salty. They definitely changed the provider of the food. Its not only Crystal Lake, but Algonquin, and Woodstock as well out of the locations I ate at. WILL NEVER BE BACK.

The pizza has a good taste over all… BUT they barely put any sausage and the pieces were micro size tiny.. same with the marshrooms barely had any at all… And maybe like 8 very thin slices of green pepper. Honestly I felt Like I ate a cheese pizza, which I dislike. I paid $21.00+ I been eating at this location for years, the people are good. But the ingredient portions and size of the portion on the pizza are DEPRESSING. Not buying another pizza there again. If it helps I rate it a 4/10 the rest of the food is good. The pizza needs a Massive update.. Just going to stick to Rossatis.

Get the regular gyro. The chicken isn’t as good, my wife got it. The regular is lamb and beef, but it is freaking amazing. If you are passing through or live in the area, check this place out. Can’t speak for any of their other food, but the standard gyro is bomb.com

Walked in and was greeted with a quick “hi” from the cashier that was on her personal cellphone. Stood and waited to either A. be asked if I was ready to order by the two other employees that were behind the counter or B. for the cashier to finish her conversation. Another gentleman walked in, used the restroom and came out and was asked if he was ready, as we were still standing there. When asked why they chose to serve that gentleman first, I was told “you need to stand right by the door to order, you were looking at the menu” and when we said that we had been waiting to get service, he shook his head and laughed in our faces. No apology, nothing. I have never had an issue at this establishment but wow, that was such shocking and appalling behavior. We will not be back to this location.

The same people are here every time I come (maybe I come to much lol) but absolutely an amazing environment and I’ve brought family/friend visitors here as well and they’ve loved it . Tommy’s everyday special is my go to ! Their polish sausages are also good .

I mean enough is enough at this place, for the love of god please just right down the orders, you have to speak the order and they are like ok and then there always major confusion at the register, then you as the customer have to chime in and explain again what your ordered, so the orders are always wrong when you get them, they can’t comprehend how to make a beef sandwich correctly and last but not least and the most disgusting, no one wears gloves at this place I’m mean come on get some people in there that understand and know what they’re doing, seems like this place is always dead and I wonder why. Come on Tommys you can do better at this crystal lake location please ! Oh wait not to mention the pizza they leave sitting in the heated case all day that is hard as a rock, if it’s not fresh stay away from the pizza

Me and a friend order a gyro in Italian beef the food was awful and we told the lady who was fixing the food to put on some gloves she touching our food with her bare hands in the man at the cash register going to tell us she washed her hands so what we work at a nursing home in the kitchen we always have to wash our hands and put gloves on and change them every time we touch other things they just disgusted health department need to pay them a visit

$18 for a beef sandwich with peppers and cheese?? Missing the cheese for Pete sakes and so many seeds from the peppers all over my sandwich. Soda was as flat as a road! At least the fries were hot, but greasy is all! No wonder there was only one person eating in that place. I’d imagine they’ll close down by the end of the year.
