We ordered grill rueban and grill Phyllis. Good food, good service, and affordable price. It is located next to the fair ground. Definitely will come back for breakfast and pies.

Fun diner. Our server was friendly. We stopped for a late dinner. The blueberry turkey sandwich is just as described, turkey breast lunch meat on blueberry bread. They have so many kinds of pie, we were sad we didn’t have room for it.

I like this diner. It is a true family diner style. Nice portion and great price. I would say maybe food need more salt, but that is just me being picky. Definitely will go here when I want chicken.

My wife and I both had the half pound buffalo burger. They were hot and juicy. The food was all made when ordered, you can’t get that flavor from under a heat lamp. It may take just a little longer to get your food, but the flavor you get makes it worthwhile.

Tommy’s is hands down the best restaurant in GI. Todays lunch was the best lunch of my life. I have to live the rest of my life knowing every day after will fail in comparison to what I’ve just experienced. The service was great, but the real ecstasy was the crème cheese French toast. I think when the end does come and God comes to make all things new He will look at Tommy’s and realize there is nothing that needs to be changed.

It was my first time at any diner’s and I am amazed at how delicious the food was. The waitress was also very nice. She also comes and check the table often, making I’m doing ok. Their French salad dressing isn’t like any other dressing. I don’t know if it’s homemade but the taste is very deliciously different. Their fry chicken thighs and wing was sooo crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside. Surprisingly it was that greasy at all which is rare with fry food like chicken. Highly recommended

Meal prices are excellent. And the number of meal choices is good as well. The patty melt did not come with thousand island sauce (in the east that is standard. The Blueberry bread Turkey melt was delicious. When we ordered coffee though, no half & half was available.

In Grand Island for a while today and found Tommy’s for lunch. Great food! I had the patty melt and it was the best patty melt I think I’ve ever had. The bread was grilled and toasty not soggy at all. Another person with me had the hot beef sandwich that was delicious! Real potatoes, roast beef was moist and tender and gravy was not over salty. She had the smaller portion and said it was a perfect size portion for a senior. Pies looked delicious but we did not have any room left for pie. Will definitely eat here again when in Grand Island! We will save room for our next time!!
