(Last visited 4/3/2022.) When I look at that date I get sad because I should be coming here a lot more! Lol. I really haven’t been here in over a year? Man. That’s wild. Lol. Anyway, I’m going to tell you why YOU should be coming here more often than I am.

Came by with a friend for dinner – we had a really nice waitress, I wish I remembered her name to give her a shoutout! We sat outside on the patio, and the vibe looked nice inside too. Good buffalo wings, goat cheese salad, and I would definitely get the cheesy balls again. They were super unique with cream cheese and mozzarella in them! My one critique is that they refer to their pizzas as being New Haven style, however I felt these were too underbaked to be considered true apizza. They did have a really good variety of speciality pizzas though, and the kitchen sink, spinach and artichoke, and chicken pesto ones were tasty.

Basic cheese pizza is decent, but the crust is hit or miss (either burnt or not crispy enough). Do not recommend spinach & artichoke pizza; not very flavorful. Also, skip the cheese balls if you’re getting takeout. By the time you get home they’re like eating room temp cream cheese. Overall, it’s an ok pizza place but not great.

Just when I thought I had to choose what I would like to try on the menu…. they rolled out three different appetizers, one salad, five signature pastas numerous pizzas and a dessert pizza I almost felt like it was the 12 Days of Christmas song. Also they had three different cocktails that were served I did not try the cocktails due to the fact that I don’t drink alcohol. Everything taste wise temperature wise was on point of course I had my favorites. Joey’s cheesy balls we’re on top of my list the cheese was very soft and melted in your mouth it was beyond delicious. And the pasta dishes you could taste that the sauces were all made fresh. The pizzas were cooked for perfection they even had cute names my favorite out of the pizzas I got the try was all loaded up which was a potato pizza. I did enjoy our dessert which was an apple crisp Pizza served with vanilla ice cream. I definitely would stop in if I was in the area of Wethersfield. This was a great Yelp Elite event!

Ate dinner here for the first time tonight. The place was packed. Our waitress, Brittany, was organized and helpful. The food was delicious and everyone’s portion was generous.

The place was fine, service was efficient, and the steak and cheese was pretty good. But I don’t understand why they will only sell slices of pizza to kids under 12. The credit card machine doesn’t know the difference. Why should they care if an adult wants pizza, but doesn’t want a whole 14-in to themselves? They still have to be making a profit at six bucks a slice.

Absolutely the best food drinks and service around hands down! You have to try Joes cheese balls and why not try a cocktail or two. Very fairly priced so you definitely get your money’s worth.

Missing the love. Food was fresh and tasty, but entrees don’t come with any salad, bread, etc. Portion was rather small, and was while it had cheese (it was a Parmesan), it was sadly far too little to be called gooey. The atmosphere was more of a modern/eclectic bar scene than a cozy Italian eatery. For the price, I was rather disappointed.
