If you’re looking for a good date night atmosphere, this is definitely the place to go! It also has the most authentic sushi in Chattanooga. The soy sauce is also made in house. My wife and I eat here once a week and it’s been extremely consistent .

Tokyo of Chattanooga is an amazing place to get your Asian food cravings satisfied. My wife and I came here for our wedding anniversary. The food has sooooooo much flavor and the portions are on point for the price. The food is worth the price, and everything is fairly priced based on service, flavor, portions and size of their menu (sooo many options) Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a roll or three lol. I suggest the Big roll under the deep fried section of their menu.

As a female dining alone in a restaurant like this is kind of intimidating. But overall my experience wasn’t bad at all. I visited Tokyo in search of Teriyaki Chicken over just plain white rice. The restaurant was empty besides me and the kitchen staff. I was moved from the table I originally sat at because it was a 4 person setting . The food was delicious though and was exactly what I wanted. Will definitely be back. Hopefully with a plus 1 next time or maybe even plus 3.

Ew. When we went to pick up our to-go order I saw bins of produce sitting on counters and when I got home there were three little fruit flies (?) in my salad. Probably won’t eat here again because after the salad I didn’t want to eat my udon noodles.

I am an avid sushi lover and I must admit that this was an awesome sushi experience! Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had in Chattanooga and with super fresh ingredients. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable but gave us the room to have a serious conversation. I recommend them to everyone and anyone.

Poor service. Took 20 min to get a water. Waited half an hour, still nothing with regards to ordering foods, so walked out. Happy hour is a scam as well, regular menu items better value. Bye.

One server who was overwhelmed with 5 tables. Ordered saki but they only had 3 of the 15 varieties listed on menu. Drinks took 10 minutes. Saw 2 tables walk out. Sushi was warm and covered in gallons of sauce. Hard pass.

Buyer beware. We read the reviews and thought this place sounded like a great spot to eat on our last night in Chattanooga. Most of us wanted Ramen and a couple the Teriyaki Chicken. We got a weird vibe on entering the restaurant and immediately thought it was closed. Not a customer in site and there were a couple of dirty tables that had not been cleared and cleaned. The waitress seated us and the chairs felt old like you were going to fall through the center. When asked if we could substitute udon noodles in place of the rice that came with the dish and we were told we would be charged for two meals as the noodles could not be used in our teriyaki chicken dish… only the rice. We were served pretty quickly but everyone’s Ramen tasted very salty. We’ve had Ramen in several great Japanese restaurants so these dishes were a bit of a shock; especially based on the reviews. I would just caution you on eating here especially if you’ve had good Ramen in the past.
