We have lived here all whole life and could never get over the fact that this was Ponderosa. A sad but true statement. So we tried Toko for the first time tonight and had the most wonderful pleasure of meeting our hostess and bartender ViVi. Not only was she charming, attentive and adorable she served us some delicious unique food.
We had the crab Rangoon app, homemade and delicious. Then the Toko roll and the mambo mango roll. Very beautiful presentation and delicious!
The exterior is newly remodeled and the interior has such a gorgeous swanky vibe and very clean.
We will definitely make this a regular stop!

I just discovered this gem ! Their food is amazing! Its so good I crave it ! Their salad and dressing is the best I’ve had a hibachi restaurant! Their food portion is well worth the price ! Steak always cooked to perfection! My kids love their egg rolls, and 3 combo hibachi meal! The service is always fast, never waited more than 5 minutes once at the table to get drinks, salad, and soup! I highly recommend this place. Their yum yum sauce, so tasty!
We used to love going here, we went recently pee my son’s birthday request, he wanted take out, the food portions almost cut in half since we last ate here, maybe a month ago. The steak was chewy, and the chicken was over cooked. So disappointing.

If you go at lunch time (10:30am – 3pm I think weekdays? On Sunday it’s dinner price all day) it’s ~$16.95 all you can eat, if you can get in the mindset that this is the only meal you want to eat all day, you can probably crush $50 to $60 worth of sushi (which I do lol)
It’s good to know how much you can eat though so keep that in mind, but this is 100% the best deal

We really enjoyed the all you can eat lunch menu. There is a different menu for lunch and dinner but was just perfect. We will be back again. If you like sushi and rolls, you should stop here for lunch. Food came out rather quickly to our table. It was clean and staff was friendly and attentive.

When we lived near here, we ate here often, it was always good. We now live an hour and a half away. Needed to come up to the area so we decided to come here for lunch, bad mistake… it was horrible. I ordered my usual, hibachi steak lunch, could not eat the steak, it was like Jerky. Hubby got his usual, the all you can eat sushi, the sushi was warm, the white tuna was sour. Needless to say we did not finish our meals. We definitely will not return! So disappointed, it use to be wonderful.

oday I took my tastebuds to Toko Japanese Steakhouse. Toko is located 1619 OH-303, Streetsboro, Ohio 44241. The service was great. You will definitely get a plentiful amount of food that will have you full & satisfied. I got the Godzilla sushi and everything about it was amazing!! I enjoy eating sushi and Toko definitely ranks up there with some of the better tasting Sushi Rolls. The hibachi style brown rice with salmon and scallops were delicious! Everything made to perfection. A light drizzle of Yum Yum sauce and you are good to go. Highly recommend this hidden gem. Thank you for you the continuous support! Hope these reviews have been a help by giving a few recommendations to some restaurants with a variety of foods.

Been coming here for a year and this place has gone down hill fast. I was really hoping they would turn it around. The hibachi is always over cooked especially the lobster, just stay away from it. Presented the issue to the waiter and completely ignored our table and had to call him over to remove it from the bill. But their college student works seem to be their best employees. The rudeness and huge decline in food quality is enough to make me never want to come back again.

Let me start by saying that the food is AMAZING…..but the problem was with the price of soda! We ordered 2 sodas, which AREN’T on the drink menu FYI, and we were charged $14.60 for them!!! When we asked our waitress if it was a mistake she said no, that it was because my husband had ordered a cherry coke that they had made with grenadine and they charge for it! We were not informed that they would be making it that way nor were we told that it would be an extra charge! I’m completely astounded that they feel that that’s justifiable. We did not get rude, just paid our bill and left afterwards. I highly recommend the food but ONLY ORDER WATER IF YOU GO!
