Great value for the price. I ordered the Tempura Chicken (with cream cheese) Roll ($5), Salmon #5 ($7.95), Chicken Gyoza Roll ($5), and the Salmon/Asparagus/Masago Crispy Fried Roll ($6). My subtotal was only $23.95 (total $25.39 with tax), which is hard to beat for this much food.

Everything tasted fresh and really good. For these prices, I’m honestly not sure how they make money. Pickup was quick and smooth, and the drive-through option makes it even more convenient. I’ll definitely be back.

I wish I’d tried this place sooner. This is definitely the best low cost sushi in town. I had a spicy tuna and a spicy salmon and both were great. I will definitely be back soon.

At the restaurant, I ordered the Kentucky roll, another Kentucky roll, and a different dish. The food was generally enjoyable, although the salmon was slightly dry. The eel sauce was exceptionally flavorful, while the soy sauce was satisfactory. The wait time was approximately 20 minutes.
Upon entering the restaurant, I found a small sitting area that could accommodate up to eight people. If desired, there is a seating area for larger groups. As I mentioned earlier, the restaurant has an intimate atmosphere.
The food was decent, and the pricing was reasonable. The menu was exceptionally extensive, featuring over 30 sushi options. This abundance of choices initially overwhelmed me, which contributed to the time it took for me to place my order.
Additionally, I believe some of the items I ordered were pre-made. While this is acceptable, it can be inconvenient when making substitutions or requesting specific cooking levels, such as extra-cooked salmon. I had the impression that the staff would simply take the pre-made items and serve them to me.

I’ve taken food through the drive-thru a couple of times but this time in particular myself and my wife went inside to eat. We were quickly greeted at the door and sat at the last available table (they only have three) I ordered at the counter and before I could sit down the waitresses already had the napkins, soy sauce, chop sticks, and drinks at the table and the table was only about 6 steps away, I was thoroughly impressed by that.

Two employees were in the front and about 5 or 6 were in the back preparing the food, everything was neat and tidy, they were all working like a well oiled machine, the food was delicious and came out fast and warm, my sweet tea tasted really good. Overall we had a great experience here and I was pleasantly surprised by the service we received, definitely some of the best service in Louisville. The two ladies at the front didn’t miss a beat , as soon as my wife and I stood up they were asking if we needed anything and offered to re-fill our cups. The value for the money is outstanding.

I will definitely be back, they’ve got something really special going on at this restaurant and that’s exactly what I need in my life.

Bravo, ToGo Sushi! You far and away exceeded expectations.

One of my favorite sushi spots in Louisville! Great to order ahead and pick them up. The rolls are massive for the price! Asked for extra ginger and the lady loaded it up. They never miss here. It’s more of a takeout spot but they do have some seating inside.

10/10!! Quick and easy to order, I will say there’s more options if you order online for pick up rather than just taking the drive through. Such delicious sushi and get customer service!

We picked up the fried crab roll, California roll, sweet potato roll and the Churchill roll. It was pretty tasty for “fast food” style sushi. Service was quick and friendly.

I’m giving two stars because the flavor was excellent and the ginger salad was excellent but the other three stars I’m leaving empty because the sushi was mushy and I couldn’t even use chopsticks so I resorted to a fork but it still fell apart so I had to use a big spoon. I ended up turning it into a salad because it was more suited as that. It was runny. This place has been here for a WHILE so I thought for sure it would be good. I’d rather have my $31 back. And I don’t know people pick their rolls up differently but I’ve tried both different ways and it felt just fell apart.

My girlfriend and I were wanting someplace to eat before a concert and after she scoured reviews of available sushi restaurants we decided on this one since it is the highest and most consistently rated in Louisville.

We dined in, which I don’t really recommend unless you HAVE to. Since it’s a to-go restaurant, everything is served in to-go containers and it isn’t like you have table service. But, the atmosphere is pleasant, and clean.

The ordering process was easy although the menu is somewhat hard to decipher in the way it’s organized; all the rolls started sounding the same after a while due to the rearranging of similar ingredients.

We decided on the Louisville roll, the rainbow roll, and the green city roll. The sushi itself was a mixed bag. The ingredients are high-quality; no doubt about that. The rolls themselves are large, which is not my personal preference, but it works ok…except that the green city roll was not good due to the large meat chunks and their texture…my girlfriend almost lost her appetite completely, and I wasn’t pleased either. But otherwise the Louisville roll had great flavor and texture as did the rainbow roll, which tasted very fresh. Just be discerning about which roll works best in the large format and you’ll be ok. The pricing is also reasonable.

The employees are SUPER friendly, and the overall vibe is respectful and pleasant.

I would definitely recommend this place. It was busy the entire time we were there, and they get their orders out VERY quickly. Lots of locals too, which is encouraging. Overall, a good experience
