We had such an incredible experience at A Toast of Mango Café, and we have to give a very special shoutout to Nikki for making it truly exceptional!
From the moment we sat down, Nikki went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of service that makes you feel like a VIP. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, kept everything flowing smoothly, and did it all with a great attitude and a big smile.
The food and atmosphere were fantastic, but Nikki absolutely elevated the entire experience. It’s rare to find someone who cares that much about the guests and takes such pride in what she does. She didn’t just serve us — she made the whole visit memorable.
If you’re heading to A Toast of Mango Café, ask for Nikki. You won’t regret it!

Visited Sarasota for a long weekend and this was BY FAR my favorite meal. Went for brunch, I had the Thai chicken wrap, my husband had the Cubano and our friends had French toast/breakfast sandwich. Everything was excellent and this will be a return spot when we come back!

Very good food and a pleasure to have a place like this finally open on the island. Low grease factor unlike some others I could mention. Staff are very accommodating, especially if you mention an allergy they will substitute or warn you honestly. Coffee is very good and the waiters and waitresses are always friendly.
My only quarrel is that they charge a ridiculous amount for a very tiny amount of salsa if you want extra salsa on something. The argument is that they make it in-house fresh, but all their food should be fresh according to their advertising.
However outside of that, service, food, atmosphere all excellent.

This was a nice breakfast spot. Both of our meals were delicious. Service was right on target. Prices are normal for this type of meal.

The Toasted Mango Cafe was fine, we all thought the food had not a lot of flavor. Seemed to have no seasoning on anything. Had to put pepper and hot sauce to get something. The staff was friendly, definitely just trying to churn and burn you as quick as possible. Which is fine it’s a busy place and the more tables the more money just could’ve used a little more personal touch. My wife did say her burrito was good. The omelettes were very bland. Potato cake was fine. Did enjoy the jam for the toast. Very sweet. We did get smoothies to go that were alright as well. I wouldn’t go back but it’s close to the beach and super busy for tourists.

Great little breakfast spot on the island. The Staff were friendly and fun to joke around with. The mango mimosa was crisp and not too sweet. They were a little pricey but a good size for that price (they were more full before the picture!) The create your own burrito was fresh hot and delicious. The avocado toast could’ve used a bit of a seasoning but overall would order it again. We live in the area so will definitely be back again!

We got the Toasted Mango Special and it was out of this world!!!! They had the most delicious mango butter to go on our French toast. We also got iced coffee and a cappuccino which were both delicious! The staff here were so incredibly nice and welcoming! The restaurant was super clean and welcoming, the staff were incredible, and service was fast and accurate! Absolutely wonderful experience and we can’t wait to visit them again!!

We had a wonderful experience here and will be back. Navigating gluten free and dairy free eating is no simple task in a restaurant! I asked about what menu items could be made gluten free, and was told everything but the waffles! Unlimited options felt beautifully overwhelming. I was very nervous the food wouldn’t be great, but we were all pleasantly surprised. Family of 5 ate for around $100, and everyone loved their meals! My daughter was served a burger with a slightly soggy bun (juices from the burger were understandable but unpleasant for her nonetheless), and it was remedied immediately with a fresh bun. Our server was attentive, helpful, and topped off to go cups before we departed. Don’t skip the bean mango side! It’s fantastic!
