This is a great place to stop for some good brunch.
What they really specialize in in their namesake – toast from some wonderful flavorful bread, and nice, chunky jam to put on it.
We also had a scramble, chicken salad, and an omelette and both were delicious. The chicken salad fruit plate is a great way to get some fruit for the kids.
They do get VERY busy around peak times, so plan accordingly.
But even though they offer all sorts of things – don’t miss out on the toast and jam.

My wife and I had the Philly Diablo Omelette (Thinly sliced beff, sautéed peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepperjack cheese and diablo sauce) and it was one of the best omelette we’ve had–ever–and we travel extensively (all 50 U.S. states and 30 countries). We also enjoyed delicious blueberry pancakes for our side dish. Service provided was also outstanding! Worth driving 40 miles out of your way to experience a breakfast like this.

The food was amazing. I had the country fried steak and it was probably over of the better ones I’ve eaten, definitely not the same frozen Sysco patties everybody else has and the sausage gravy seemed homemade as well. My only critique is the hash browns could’ve been a little crispier but I like mine basically incinerated lol
The waitress was awesome, very attentive and when she offered hot sauce she brought out 6 different kinds!
Definitely will be back

Came on a whim on Father’s Day, they told us the wait would be 30 minutes, and that didn’t seem too bad, so we waited. Saw people leaving every couple minutes, thought for sure 30 minutes seemed doable. After an hour of waiting, they finally called us, usually hostesses over estimate your time you you’re not looking at your watch for 30 minutes going what the heck? So that started off annoying. We got seated and ordered right away. My kids got pink lemonade and I got a Diet Coke, they immediately said their lemonade didn’t taste right? And our server changed the bag or whatever they have to do and got them new ones and they were fine. My Diet Coke didn’t taste right either, it was flat. She said the bag was full for that one and brought me one from another machine, it was better but not great. I ordered pancakes and over medium eggs and sausage patties, with a side of sourdough toast and jam. The pancakes tasted almost multigrain, and they weren’t my favorite, they also give you 3, which was far too many and I had to take one home. The eggs were cooked to perfection, like velvet. The toast and jam and sausage patties were great! My son got cinnamon roll pancakes and he loved them, my other son got the cheeseburger and was disappointed at the size but then that was all he could eat, lol, my other son got the kids pancake, which comes in the shape of Mickey. And my daughter got kids french toast, which she liked very much. My husband got an omelet with pancakes and he enjoyed it. It was also really loud and busy since it was Father’s Day.

I had a decent experience at this breakfast spot, though there were some highs and lows. The ambiance was unique, a bit different from what I’m used to, but in a good way—definitely had its charm. We didn’t have to wait long for a table, only about 5 minutes, which was nice for a weekend brunch.
For food, we tried the tortilla scrambler, but I wasn’t a big fan of it. It came loaded with pickled jalapeños, which overpowered the dish for me. I personally prefer fresh jalapeños for a brighter, crisper flavor, so the pickled version wasn’t quite to my liking. However, the Mediterranean scrambler was much better, flavorful and well-balanced.
The breakfast tortillas were just okay—nothing special, but not bad either. They didn’t really stand out, and I think they could use a little something extra to elevate the flavors. The real star of our meal was the cinnamon pancakes we had for dessert. They were absolutely delicious but very, very sweet—maybe too sweet for some, but they hit the spot if you’re in the mood for a sugar rush.
Overall, it was a mixed experience. There were a few good dishes, but also some that I wouldn’t order again. It’s worth a try if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

This place never disappoints me. I have been coming here every other week for years! Ordering different menu items every visit. Everytime the food is served it’s always amazing. Awesome food with a home made flavor, and very filling!. My all time favorite is their chicken noodle soup, wet burrito, sweet potato waffle fries, philly steak quesadilla (the entire menu)… omg i can go on and on… Awesome atmosphere and friendly service (Becca was my last server before i wrote this, but every other staff in this place were so funny and friendly!!!!). 10/10. Would encourage you to come and give this place a try!

We are from ohio. We visit every year, once a year. This is always our first stop. Our adult kids and my husband have to have breakfast here everyday here when we are in town. We love this place that much. We bought a couple containers of the jam to bring home this time. Mind you they didn’t last long. We love n miss you all already and we’ve only been gone for 2 weeks. Hope to see you again soon. Good food, good service, clean and beautiful place. All around amazing place. Wish I could bring you to OHIO with me.

An incredible dining experience from start to finish! The ambiance is vibrant, with a unique cooktop station right at the entrance. The wait time was short, and the seating for those waiting is both comfortable and plentiful. We tried the tortillas scrambler—delicious and satisfying. The breakfast tortillas were light and healthy, perfect for a simple, nutritious start. The Mediterranean scrambler was decent, though not extraordinary. The well-done hash browns with jalapeños and onions were a standout! To top it off, the cinnamon pancakes for dessert were out of this world—a must-try. Overall, great food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!
