Honestly not sure what the hype is about this place. The atmosphere almost felt awkward, the high chair we were given was covered in leftover food, it took about 25 minutes to get our food, my drink was empty most the evening, and the food tasted no better than some microwaved bar food. If everything cost about half as much it would maybe be worth it

Our experience was wonderful. The flounder was fresh and had a nice batter. The blackened chicken sandwich was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The Crack Fries were outstanding with the perfect amount of seasoning. The onion rings were made perfectly and the sweet potato fries were delicious. The hostess and host were pleasant and the server was sweet, attentive, and helpful. We will certainly add Bricks to our dining list for vacations.

After our epic 2+ hours bicycle ride on the nearby Spanish Moss Trail, we were famished! This place was highly rated and we were only 5 minutes away.
Hubby had fish n chips. I couldn’t take a picture since he gobbled it down so quickly. Between bites, I heard only praise at how awesome his meal was. Generously 3 pieces of fish, served piping hot.
I had their house burger: Two fried eggs, fresh tomato, pickles, onions and cheese piled high on a fresh bun and a fat patty cooked perfectly!
I always order my fries extra well done and I have never complained if I get them and they are burnt. More often than not, my request is forgotten or ignored, and I end up with regular-cooked spuds, which is what I thought happened during our visit. However…. The lovely and amazing server named Amber, brought us a second order of piping hot extra crispy fries without being asked. 🙂 She apologize that our first order hadn’t been quite cooked enough, dropped off the order of fries with a big smile. Awesome!
Lots of parking, totally wheelchair, accessible, space outside for dogs to hang out.
Good layout, typical bar/eating areas. Looks like there may have been a pool table in there at one point (there’s a nice big space for one, but there are tables and chairs instead?).
Overall cleanliness, pretty good. I would recommend that the framed pictures at the tables be properly cleaned as there was food splatter on them.
Another suggestion: We noticed that the young lady/hostess, who originally seated us, did not give off very friendly/happy vibes. Maybe just an off day for her, but as far as first impression goes, it could’ve been better.
Small discomfort was how cold it was inside… maybe the AC was turned on full blast? Maybe we were just super hot from being outdoors exercising? Brrr…
And finally, if we go back, we would not choose a booth seat again. Every time the diners behind us moved, my entire bench would move with them. Annoying.

Me and my husband decided to try this place yesterday for lunch. I can honestly say some places aren’t worth giving a second shot. I ordered the $30 chicken fried steak, and was served 2 frozen patties that tasted like they were nuked in a microwave. I was told my meal came with mashed potatoes, a side and either soup or salad. I asked my waitress what was the soup was. She told me she would find out. After forgetting to find out, and then disappearing for 15 minutes I was brought the surprise soup. Still don’t know what flavor exactly it was….I opted for the sautéed vegetables as my second side. Absolutely no seasoning at all and tasted like it was just steamed in water. We spent $95 on lunch and was left feeling less than satisfied. Moving to the area in 2 weeks but we definitely won’t be back!

Shrimp was great! Service was nice and fast. The crack fries were a little hard. I think they were overcooked maybe. Mac and cheese was very bland. Outside area was cute!

All in all I felt the place was descent. Loaded potato soup was great,just don’t order it as a side it is ridiculously small

Stopped in while visiting the area 12/27/2025 about 7pm, sat outside. Have eaten there 3 difference times. This time I had the grilled chicken quesadilla roll and fires. Fires were perfectly cooked. I liked the flavor of the quesadilla roll but didn’t like how it was sliced with the lettuce on the side chopped up. I understand the thought behind the behind the presentation makes it appear like sushi. It’s neat ideal but I’m not a fan of it. Again the flavor was great. Love the chipotle mayo, For me I would rather have the lettuce in leaf form and can sandwich the slices on the lettuce. Just my opinion.
Service was great the server and hostess kept checking on me.
Js the nachos are hard to beat, that’s my favorite food from there.

Great place for family dinner. First time here. Huge Cobb Salad with blackened shrimp. Huge, tasty Grilled chicken sandwich; delicious steamed veggies. Large fried Chicken Caesar salad was great. Hefty and tasty blackened flounder tacos with slaw. Mac and cheese was gooey and very enjoyable. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere.

We are in town because my son is graduating boot camp. We just was hangry and needed to eat. We just pulled in here. Glad we did. Amber G was our server. She was awesome and very attentive. Kept the drinks full. Brought us boxes and bag without asking. The food was huge portion and was really good. All 5 of us enjoyed it. I had the 1 pound meatloaf, chicken sandwiches, and mushroom burger. I definitely would recommend stopping by and enjoying the food and drinks. The music was perfect as well. Just loud enough to enjoy but still all conversate.
