Toas makes some great grinds. The teriyaki chicken is juicy and the burnt ends are great. Mac salad is on point. Sauces spot well with the spam musubi. I hope I can go back to try the loco moco. Great spot for local Hawaiian food. Staff is cool too. Very helpful when navigating the menu for the 1st time

This place is probably the closest authentic food I have gotten that is not actually on the island. The kalua pork is my go to dish, it’s tender and moist. I always grab a spam musubi as well. I miss just being able to go to any market or 7-Eleven back home and grab a couple anytime of the day. Thanks Toa’s Ohana for the taste of home. Mahalo #Honolulu #Aiea #PearlCity

I ordered the Pork Rib plate with rice and cabbage as my sides. The meat just fell off the bones, and were so delicious. My brother ordered the two meat plate Kalua Pork and Chicken Katsu with rice and cabbage as his sides. He said his meal was delicious also. This is the second time we have been there and ordered our meals to go. The food has been consistently delicious. I always have enough left over for another meal. The employees are also very nice and helpful. We will definitely be coming back again. If you haven’t been there you really need to go and try their food for yourself. Absolutely Onolicious! 02-04-26

We eat here or order to go often. We love the beef lumpia and sometimes just order it to go with other meals we make. The food is always good and the people are always friendly. On this day, I got the two meat plate and ordered katsu chicken and teriyaki chicken. The chicken was good and tender. My husband ordered the Loco moco and said it was great.

Made my mouth smile so big at the first bite!! If you want to be married forever, take your spouse here!!! He/She will love you forever!!!! The pulled pork and cabbage is to die for, and the teriyaki chicken just melts in my mouth! Makes my mouth salivate speaking of this place! I will be back next week, and the week after, and the week after, and the week after! Going to get frequent Flyer miles at this place! A must on the bucket list!!!

LARGE PORTIONS PEOPLE! I was amazed at how much food was on the plates for the price I paid! I loved everything on my plate except the brisket and my rice. The brisket was juicy, but not my favorite, and my rice was mushy. The spam musubi wasn’t what I’m used to either. The kalua pork and katsu chicken, however, were great! I absolutely loved the layer of crisp on the chicken. The pork was very juicy and full of flavor. I can appreciate the fact that they put my macaroni salad in a side cup also. It had a really good creamy texture. The teriyaki chicken and cabbage were also great choices. I also tried the guava cupcakes. They were a nice addition to completing the meal. I had enough for two days, and it was even better the second day. The service was great, very quick, and helpful with any questions.

I read through a lot of the reviews and decided to give this a try. Weeks went by and as I was driving into cove and pulled right in to the parking lot. When I opened my door I was met with this breath taking smell of hawaiian bbq. Walking into through the front door I was immediately greeted not only by staff but the huge menu too. After studying the menu I decided on the number 2 for myself which included, a pork rib, chicken katsu, rice and macaroni salad . My husband also got a number two but with brisket, kalua pork and a double salad. He enjoyed his plate a lot! The salad was crispy and fresh, the pork and brisket were super tender and flavorful. As for mine…katsu was nicely breaded and crunchy, the rib was fall off the bone (literally) but the sauce had an acidic background but not a lot of flavor. My sides were rice, which is fluffy and sticky. On it was a type of teriyaki sauce and wow it was good!! The other was macaroni salad which had a creamy texture but again no flavor. I also ordered 1 egg role and 1 spam musubi. The egg roll I feel was like something you get when you order chinese and the musubi was meh. The musubi rice to meat ratio was way off and the meat was barely on the other side of cooked. Honestly this place has the potential to be good just have to add seasoning to some stuff. I will be back for the katsu for sure.

The staff were very patient explaining the unfamiliar Hawiian cuisine to me. Prices are very reasonable and the food is good. Not great seating but most people seem to take out anyway, so there’s probably room to eat in most times.
