The only restaurant open on a Monday on Pilot Mountain saved our anniversary dinner. The food was yummy. I tried cactus for the first time. Surprisingly, I didn’t hate it. Had enough left to take with us and had it for lunch. Would definitely go back if we are ever in the area.

We eat here pretty regularly. The staff is friendly and the food is great. It’s often crowded around lunch and dinner especially on weekends but they have plenty of seating. Seldom have we ever had issues with food or service. My only complaint is I wish they would work on the bathroom. They are typically clean but the soap dispenser has been broken for months, the mirror is gone and patched over, 1 paper towel dispenser quit working a while back and the other one is about done.

The meal and service was absolutely splendid. It was very authentic and great atmosphere. Jalen was our server and he was great! If you are in the area this place is a definite stop if you want great Mexican at a great price. Wonderful dinner!

We have been here on multiple occasions. The food has been pretty consistent typical Mexican fare. Several of our friends like their guacamole over anywhere else near by, i don’t eat it so I can’t say. Service is pretty average for places of this price point. There have been times were we to had to ask for drink refills, but the service has never been what i would consider to be ‘bad”.

UPDATE 1/19: We were passing through again. I remembered pictures this time!
The chips and salsa were so good and i ordered the ACC this time. The shrimp is cooked perfectly and not too salty. The cheese dip it’s topped is delicious and so was the rice. It came with a little more shrimp but i had already eaten some before i remembered pictures lol.
I wish i had taken pictures. The parking lot was packed for a reason! The interior is well decorated, staff was accommodating, and the enchiladas rancheras i ordered was delicious. I also had enough of a portion that i could have saved half for later and still been full. But it was too good so i ate it all in one sitting. I was just passing through but i will definitely come here again if I get the chance!
