I wasn’t sure what to expect going in. The storefront is small. It’s a little dark going in. The counter is full of fresh baked goods. I had a cashew square. I don’t remember the actual name. I also ordered a chicken kabob sandwich. My husband had the baba ganoush sandwich. We did order an appetizer too the spinach feta pie, also delightful. They were both incredible! Definitely the top ten sandwiches we’ve had. We sat outside and people watched as we ate. It really was a perfect lunch experience. I highly recommend it.

The place is very highly rated so our expectations were sky-high – but the food was OK at best. We tried the shawarma, couscoscous plate with lentils and veggie, and carrot juice (with ginger/orange). Overall it was meh – might try some other place in town next time…

This place is just awesome. Forget about any of the reviews that aren’t 5 stars. Delicious food and plenty of it. Healthy, filling house salad with lots of good veggies. You can tell it’s authentic and made with love. Very homey vibe especially from the dessert spread!! Staff is super friendly as well. Just go – don’t think about it!

Food is unique and delicious. Fast service. Place needs to be renovated, is showing its age and grime. Brick walls make it an echo chamber and the loud music doesn’t help. A nice refit with tapestries on the walls would be an amazing upgrade! We had a great dinner. Recommended outside seating if you can snag it.

Stopped in Northampton to explore the town and popped in here for dinner. The kebab sandwich was pretty good, the Amanouz royal feast was ok, liked the moussaka best. The dolmas were ok as well. My favorite though was the desserts! I love trying mediterranean pastries and tried their pistachio baklava and maamoul which were fab. Will definitely come back and try more of their food next time I’m nearby!

Late at night and hungry, we ventured to Amanouz Cafe, lured by their robust vegetarian offerings. OMG, it was a delight! We took advantage of their outdoor seating, and I had the Mediterranean pasta, which was a special, while my spouse had couscous with lentils. Both were delicious and had generous portions. Paired with two glasses of wine and the casual homey atmosphere, it was the PERFECT “welcome to Northampton” for two weary new residents. I look forward to dining there again soon!

A cute little establishment. The Tagine Kefta came out in a real tagine, which was charming. That dish and the Couscous and Lentils were both very delicious assortments of meats and vegetables with a very unique flavor—very different to the cuisines that I am most often exposed to.

Very cute and homey little restaurant! The service is quick and the waiters are very friendly. They make sure you’re all taken care of, not to mention the food is AMAZING!! I had the Falafel sandwich and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! They even gave us tea on the house! Will definitely be back again. 🙂
