The beef quality here is stellar. My dry aged medium rare Delmonico needed no seasoning because it had a perfect sear and delicious partially rendered fat. Pair it with the Louis Martini Cabernet and finish with a perfect butter cake and a Brandy Alexander. Service was attentive and pleasant. Not pictured: stone crab claws and bone marrow (both awesome as well).

This is a very unique and charming restaurant. The rooms are all named ie St. Andrews and Queen Elizabeth I. The chairs and booths are tartan fabric. The food and drinks were fabulous. I had the lobster tail, which was tender and sweet. My husband had the Coulette Wagyu and it was cooked to perfection. We had a great experience.

The atmosphere and service were great, but $160 for 2 people without beverages is on the high side. I had the dry aged New York strip, which didn’t have a ton of flavor for being aged for 40 days. The lobster creamed corn was fantastic, but I am not going out to dinner for a side. The main course should be the highlight. My wife really liked the beef wellington, so great job there. Overall, I would say there are better places to eat in Oshkosh, especially for the value and of you venture a bit further you will find better food for the same amount of money.

I have been wanting to check out this restaurant and saw the Thanksgiving buffet advertised, so thought we’d try it. For what we paid for this meal, it was very disappointing. The lobster bisque soup was so-so flavorwise and was lukewarm at best. The other soup was also barely warm. There were no covers on the soups to keep them heated. The maple glazed carrots were hard as rocks and not cooked and the green bean casserole used full-length green beans (hard to even get out of the warmer) that were also undercooked. Wrong kind of beans for this dish though. There were some very good things, including the deviled eggs, ham and the cocktail shrimp. Dessert selection was minimal. Was looking forward to the bourbon pecan pie. The filling on that was okay, but the crust was very thick and soft. Our server was also not the greatest and slow to serve our table. We were beginning to wonder what to do with our dirty plates when we wanted to go up for refills plus it took some time to even get our waters refilled (no ice). It’s a very nice place really and a nice atmosphere for conversing, but based on the overall quality of food and table service on this occasion, I don’t think we would go out there again. We’ve definitely been to other places that were better. I have different friends who come here for regular meals and things have been good for them, so not sure what was up with this buffet.

We visited for the first time to celebrate my dad’s birthday and had an incredible experience. The atmosphere and décor were fantastic, with comfortable chairs that created a cozy, home-like vibe, especially with the warm lighting. The fireplaces added a perfect touch, especially with the snow falling outside. Our server, Amber, was amazing—she gave great recommendations and thoroughly described the dishes for us. We appreciated the a la carte style, which allowed us to mix and match sides in generous shareable portions for 2-3 people. Everything came out all at once, which was a nice change from the typical experience of dishes arriving one by one. The food was exceptional—beautifully plated, fresh, and delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, perfect for special occasions. While it’s on the pricier side for an average meal, it was absolutely worth every penny.

This is a really special place to eat. I loved the atmosphere- very cozy, but at the same time, you have room to move around and you are not in top of other tables. The BAR is awesome. Lovely special drinks, and draft beers. Many scotch and whiskey choices. The dining room was beautiful. Plaid and fluffy highland coos are abundant with St. Andrew and royalty adorning the walls. Most of the food was delicious and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the brussels sprouts were wayyy overdone, in my opinion. I like a sprout with a little life left in in. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the beef wellington pastry was crispy, the au gratin potatoes had an interesting blend of cheeses with maybe a little nutmeg thrown in. Our bartender, and waitress were GREAT!!! The French martini was a super star.

First thought pulling in realizing it’s in a country club… Gunna be hard to find parking or hard to locate a host.
Plenty of parking, walk in instantly greeted.
Every staff member we spoke were very polite and cheerful.
Our waitress explained the menu very well.
We ordered waygu steak, filet, and au gratin potatoes.
Steaks could be cut with a butter knife.
Potatoes were exactly like mom’s homemade mac and cheese with potatoes instead of noodles.
The presentation of food was very pleasing to our eyes.
Definitely will be back. The steak is easily in our top 5. Close to Smith and wollenskis in Chicago.

This restaurant was an excellent choice from start to finish. We had a large party private event. The steak was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The potatoes were creamy and rich, while the broccoli added a fresh, crisp balance to the plate. Every bite felt intentional and well-prepared.
The food presentation was just okay, not overly fussy or dressed up, but it didn’t take away from the incredible taste. What mattered most was the flavor, and they absolutely delivered on that.
And then came dessert, which completely stole the show. It was the kind of sweet finish that makes you pause and savor every bite. The presentation was simple but elegant, and the flavor was unforgettable.
From the service to the atmosphere and the food itself, everything about this place was great.

Visited for lunch during Oshkosh Restaurant Week. Our server, Eden, was great. Since it was a foggy Wednesday and we had driving ahead of us, we didn’t order drinks. Instead, we enjoyed the chilled water from the bottle left on the table for us. I ordered the Boring Salad w bleu cheese, Bourbon fried chicken sammy. My lunch date enjoyed the white chicken chili and the nacho burger. Both sandwiches were yummy. The beef in the medium cooked burger had a lot of great flavor. We shared an Elvis sundae and opted for the grilled pound cake to-go. The soup was tasty but had no toppings like sour cream or avocado. The salad greens were plentiful and fresh, but awkward to eat as the pieces were so large. The cucumbers had been sliced well in advance, making them a bit questionable. One was inedible. Our sandwiches were delicious if a bit messy. Each sandwich was served with house made thick cut potato chips- delicious!! The desserts were a nice treat that we don’t usually indulge in. Overall, we were expecting a bit more flare for a Country Club Steak House, but we were happy to pay $17 each for our meals.
