Always a great time here at Rick’s with amazing food and great staff! The food was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor and a great presentation. A great place to go out to dinner that will not disappoint. A true gem in our small local community. Can’t wait to come back and try another great dish!

We really tried to like this place. Unfortunately, after 6 visits in the last 3 months, we can honestly say we will not go back. On several visits, others that were seated after us recieved thier beverages and food before us. The food lacks in consistency and is just OK. My wife said she wouldnt even consider giving the leftovers to our animals on the farm…and I would have to agree. seafood has definately been in the freezer for a period of time and the prime rib was very tough and stringy. The mixed drinks are very expensive ($16+) and are less than average at best, especially compared to others in the area. Beer taps seem to be problematic and the beer is warm. The staff is mostly polite. There is a bartender “not from the neighborhood” who is not friendly to most males and is happy to be extra friendly to the ladies. Wait staff has been different every time we’ve been there and always seem rushed. On more than one occasion the wait staff mentioned challenges or otherwise voice/vented discontent for conditions and the owner. There was also an uncomfortable mention of unwanted attention/advances by the owner in exchange for a better shift during our last dinner there. There have been different faces each time we went which made it tough to make a connection. We prefer consistency and a regular friendly face. Speaking of the owner, we paid attention to him based on previous feedback and found him to not only be disrespectful to his employees after several visits but he was also rude to us and other customers…and there is no reason for the owner to stare at my wife to the point that it made her uncomfortable enough to not want to go back. Beware of the creeper wayfarer hidden camera glasses.

We have been going to Tony’s for many years. Always wonderful! This was our second trip to Rick’s. Unfortunately, this was not. We were party of five. Our tab was 400.00. Food was wonderful. Our waitress was not. Three of us had food left over. My meal I only ate a small amount. The other guests ate most of their food. For some reason she wrapped up their food and threw away mine. I am sure that was a mistake. The problem was when we realized my food was not in the bag we went back in to ask where it was. That is when things got unpleasant. We asked her and she said she threw it out. So, we asked to speak to the owner. He came over. We told him she threw away my dinner. The waitress said I was very picky! She left out that I had a severe allergy to garlic that is why I was asking questions regarding meal choices. But the reason for this post is the owner Rick said sorry. Then when I wanted to continue the conversation, he raised his voice and said GET OUT! Perhaps he had a bad day, but he should have never spoke to me in that manner.

Ricks Tavern was to die for! Terrific service and delicious food. We ordered the shrimp and scallops, the chicken penne vodka, and homemade lobster raviolis, and every single one of the dishes were divine. The alcoholic dreamscicle was scrumptious. Lastly, we were the first ones to use the new patio set and it truly was a beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. Check out this amazing and unique experience! Attached are the dishes that were delicious!

Customers after us were waited on first. The food when served was like warm at best. One person has a reaction to onions and instructed no onions but the salad arrived with onions. The entree took an hour and a half to get to us and was like warm at best. The wine pour was ridiculously small four ounces at most and overpriced plus in very small cordial like glasses. The food was very good but not worth the time or price!

My wife and I had a wonderful evening last night at Rick’s Bistro & Café. The atmosphere was warm and inviting from the moment we walked in. I ordered the Spanish Seafood Paella and my wife had the Flounder Francese — both dishes were excellent and we enjoyed every bite.
We shared a Pear Salad, which my wife especially appreciated because it was generous and full of ingredients, not just a plate of lettuce as you often find elsewhere.
The staff worked seamlessly as a team and spoke very highly of the owner, Rick Lee. Rick himself visited tables throughout the evening — friendly, engaging, and genuinely funny.
We may have just found our new favorite local spot. It’s hard to imagine finding a better dining experience.

Great prime rib. At least tonight, one of the tenderest end cuts I’ve had in years! Wed only for prime rib. Worth the trip. Salt & pepper perfect for me, I like it somewhat salty! Skimpy on the veggies. Never seen such a small baked potato in my life. Worth the $33 for the 20 oz cut.

Rick’s provides a terrific dining experience. All the pastas are prepared to your liking and are amazing. Also, the pork chop, steak and seafood are great. Love the mussels in a white wine sauce. Rick and his wife Lori are engaging hosts. The food, wine and bar upgrades are such an improvement from Tony’s. Not to mention the beautiful inside changes. We look forward to many more great meals and happy times at Rick’s!

I used to go here when it was Tonys and I have to say Rick’s doesn’t disappoint!! The interior is beautiful, great service and food, and friendly atmosphere. Everything was amazing. We will definitely be returning!
