Pupusas are made fresh and large. One each person for most. Ordered one bean and cheese and one squash and cheese. Pickled cabbage is the best I’ve had. Flavor is very good and clearly homemade. Very excited for next time. Burritos looked really excellent and I’m excited to try a caldo. Price point is very reasonable with huge value in terms of portion size and food quality.

The food is amazing, wait was a lil long but it comes with quality food the only main issue is the they had a lot and it was frustrating to eat and try to have them not go on my food price is a lil on the expensive side but it was well worth it

The pupusas are HUGE and I was a big fan of them using fresh jalapeños instead of pickled jalapeños in their cheese/jalapeño pupusas.

Pupusa, soup was amazing! If you have not tried a pupusa before this place is a great introduction to it!
FYI the soup do take a bit of time but well worth the wait! As an Asian, I appreciate the depth of flavor that’s often found in Chinese soup and I find that here as well!

We had a great bite here eight years ago and have been meaning to get back ever since. Finally did after evacuating for the Park Fire and again it was fantastic!

Food is fantastic, burritos. You really get your value for the size. There’s no question price value. Tacos are really good, but they do use the smaller tortillas. Quesidalli with meat another great value.
Service, we stood around for a while before we were acknowledged to order. I almost walked over to another truck same lot. I will tell you I am glad I didn’t the food was really good.
Diffently will mark a top tacos truck when traveling.

4 stars because they were a little slow on the day that we came. This is a food truck so the atmosphere and ambiance isn’t much to write home about. We ordered the Al pastor and carne asada tacos and the loroco/cheese and jalapeno/cheese pupusas. The tacos were good, the Al pastor was obviously better than the asada. Among the pupusas, the loroco was interesting because the taste reminded me of what jasmine flowers smell like. There was lots of cheese in both pupusas and they were fat and stuffed. I liked the jalapeno/cheese a lot and thought they could’ve added more jalapenos. The accompanying sauces were good but the coleslaw was just average. This is a great road side stop if you want good Salvadoran food. They have open air parking right next to the truck. Just be prepared for whatever the weather is going to be like.

The pupusa combo plate was a satisfying lunch for two. They offer a variety of vegetarian-friendly pupusa fillings. The crispy cheese bits and curtido were particularly delicious. This was a great find after stopping by the nearby EV chargers!

My husband is a truck driver, we stayed at Studio 6 (after a long day of driving), we wanted something other than fast food, so we walked over to this place. We both ordered the caldo de res (to go). This picture is one order. I wish I knew it was so big, I think we could’ve shared one. Anyway, it was so delicious! The meat and veggies were huge slices and so filling. Both containers were filled to the brim (before i took the picture). We ended up eating one for dinner, and we’ll probably eat the other for breakfast before we get on the road again. Highly recommend. I know we will definitely be back again when we pass through Buttonwillow. Keep in mind it does take about 15-20 minutes for your order (depending on the line). We ordered then ran over to Arco while we waited, then it was ready when we got back. The only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere was because seating is outside and I was cold (personal issue, not theirs lol).
