Delicious local small batch ice cream. Perfect for a summer treat. The very best flavor is blackberry, hands down! Eat local treats!

This ice cream place seemed to be popular around the neighborhood. I liked the chocolate cone, but the ice cream was too sweet for me. Also, the staff gave me something different from what I ordered… Overall, I think it’s an okay ice cream place, but I might not particularly drive a long way to come here just for the ice cream.

Stopped in because our original planned ice cream stop is closed for the season …
Very good homemade ice cream – sampled the blueberry biscotti & it was so good I didn’t try any others … two other patrons came in, saw the flavor listed and sampled it, too.
They were likewise “sold”
Cute clean shop, helpful friendly staff.
Will come back again.
PS re: flimsy spoons … they must have listened & changed their spoon source as the ones we got/used were definitely not flimsy.
The ice cream is very solid & the spoons provided did their job …

After a long day of disc golf playing my cousin stopped me to get ice cream at Tipped Cow Creamery. Now Walking into was little awkward I won’t lie but ice cream and the location was very good and the ice cream had its own texture was different than any other one I’ve ever tasted which made a unique and tasteful.
I got the cotton candy and my cousin got the chocolate. Chocolate was very rich and delicious and the cotton candy was very sweet, good for kids
I would recommend at least stopping by and tasting it. Thanks for amazing Ice Cream.

Great ice cream at a good price. The scoops are generous for sure. I got the fresh mint which turned out to be spearmint flavored. That was a bit of a shock but still tasty. The chocolate chip cookie dough is one of the bests I’ve ever had.

The tipped cow has amazing ice-cream, some of the best I’ve ever had. But their staff tends to have trouble with the load of day to day summer business.
They close at 9PM as of the time of writing and if you are in line at 9 they will just tell you that you aren’t going to be served without any advance notice. I understand that business hours exist for a reason but the whole process could be handled with more tact.
This is also a minor complaint but man is it annoying, the spoons are very flimsy. You may be thinking “wow what a stupid thing to complain about” but this is an ice-cream place, literally everything you get here will be consumed with a spoon. If the spoons are flimsy it makes eating the otherwise awesome ice-cream a chore. It doesn’t help that the ice-cream is stored a smidge too cold so it is very hard for a while.
Overall, the place is well kept and makes an awesome product. Just needs some work on the finer points. The workers also change gloves with every serving, this is pretty wasteful and it should be noted that it is not required and gloves are not a replacement for hand washing.
Thanks for reading.

Was eavesdropping at another business in town and overheard the “tipped cow” being dropped in conversation about “best ice cream in town”. We passing through on our way to Harpers Ferry and are from out of state. I like the creamery patina, do I think it’s an ideal location?..not so much but I respect the story behind the expansion from the Monks BBQ. Did I think fair price..sure I did! Did I think friendly staff..you bet I did! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. My only stickler is taste…not sure why “natural” or creamery style ice cream isn’t more flavorful?. When people indulge in sweet treats…their not worried about calories!! If your going to have signature flavors..their gonna have to pop more in the mouth:)..just sayin’. And might want to revamp the the presentation of menu items and flavors..can get a bit mixed in the jumble of sidewalk chalk fonts fit into a very tiny area.

We love that this place is in town, and they have great ice cream – if you get it served there. Two times now we’ve paid $10 for a pint of cookie dough, brought it home, and found no dough in the pint, just vanilla ice cream. $10 for a pint ain’t cheap!! If you guys fix your pints, I’ll happily update my review.

Service was great. The young ladies were patience and friendly. The ice cream was good. The shop was very clean. I love the location. There are tables outside where you can sit, enjoy your ice cream, and enjoy the view of the mountains. Their counter is high, and you can’t see the ice cream. Not a typical ice cream shop where there is a display for me to look and choose. I got the mint chip. I like that they didn’t add green coloring to make the ice cream look minty. The mint flavor is nature. Tasted it they used mint leaves for flavoring. The strawberry ice cream was good too. The strawberries were cut in tiny cubes and they were frozen and too cold for me. There were also some chocolate coating this transparent slightly chewy pieces in the ice cream. I think it’s from the strawberry ice cream. Not sure what they were but they were good. I really enjoy that. The portion was generous. I will definitely stop by again if I’m in the area again.
