I have to admit I was a tad dubious when we pulled up in the Uber, my first impressions were Italian American casual restaurant with large portions of just ok food. We walked in and the magic began. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated. Cocktails were deelish and complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic were delivered. Our Server was amazing and very helpful with recommendations. The chef is Italian and I am here to say the home made ravioli was outstanding. I am nervous to order fish in restaurants as it is often overcooked. After discussing with our server and his assurance that the dish was amazing, I decided to go for it and order the sea bream and it did not disappoint! It was a beautiful evening and we will happily return to this hidden gem again!

I’ve been here many times for dinner, but today I decided to come for lunch — and it was just as amazing as always. The drinks were great, the food was really good, and everything tasted fresh and flavourful. The service is consistently friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect whether you come for lunch or dinner. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Guelph.

Our experience at this restaurant for our first time was definitely positive. I really liked the interior of the restaurant. The blue cheese pasta was very salty and the yam fries are very salty as well. They improve on the amount of salt they put into their dishes. The texture of the rigatoni pasta needs to change. However, the desserts were very lovely.

We tried Fork on York today and ordered take out.
We had the Chicken Schnitzel, Mushroom Risotto add Brisket, and the Beef, Pork and Chorizo Sausage burger. We also had to try the Cagneys salad. We all enjoyed our meals very much! The food was very flavorful and fresh. The hosts were friendly and from front counter, the restaurant looked very nice inside, very clean and well kept.
We will definitely be back soon.

WOW I attended a friend’s birthday dinner here and this place was fabulous. The staff were so attentive. We had a very large group we were attended to so well. The food didn’t disappoint. Pricing was very reasonable for the portion and the taste. I will definitely be back.

This is a great spot. We enjoyed an intimate dinner for two last week – the service and the food were both exceptional. We also attended a birthday party for 25 people recently – their ability to provide a private dining area was amazing, and despite a very full restaurant and a party of 25, the quality, timing and attention to detail that they provided were unbelievable.

We went for our anniversary dinner. This was our first time trying Fork on York. There was a nice touch of complementary champagne for our anniversary. Service was good and friendly. Orders came out fast, but when we got our entrees the sauce on the ravioli was dripping in oil. From what I have seen on the photos of other sauces, this was not on par. Normally I would have sent this back for a new dish or remake, but during the dinner rush we were not checked on again for 30m and I simply didn’t mention anything as we had to get going. All in all, my wife’s food was great besides their truffle fries being too salty. We had their new Wagyu meatballs, Caico e Pepe, truffle fries, a few cocktails, and blue cheese ravioli (in the photo).
Overall, maybe an off night for them. Might have to try some different menu options next time.

This restaurant has a great vibe to it, they’ve done a great job with the renovations, much needed addition in Guelph! My wife and I both had the filet with a side of risotto. Both were delicious, and the steak was cooked perfectly. They make their tiramisu and sticky toffee in house, we tried one of each and both were amazing. Lovely evening
