Now THIS is bbq!!!! 10 out of 10. Best bbq I’ve had in a long time. Pulled pork and brisket was so tender it was like butter!! Good seasoning and all the sides were great. The place is like an old fashioned log cabin vibe. Staff was friendly and good service. I will be going back often. Seriously delicious.

The brisket and ribs always great. The corn and side beans was below average. It’s pretty hard to get a glimpse at what their selling behind the glass. So they have a big menu on the wall. Most bbq places you could see clearly what your trying to buy. They also have a nice size playground right in the outside eating area. That’s a game changer along with the stage for outdoor performances.

Great seating for large groups. They even have bands on certain dates. Food was just alright. Brisket was a little dry. Ribs were not tender. Sides could have been fresher. Baked potato with meat and cheese on it was great. Willing to try them again if I’m in the area.

We stopped by for lunch on a sunny Saturday. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was awesome if a little skimpy on the pork. My wife had ribs that were fall off the bone and delicious. They made my daughter grilled chicken tenders on request that she loved as well. Sides were generous and the price is competitive with other BBQ places in the area. The play area was large and full of kids. Definitely among the best BBQ restaurants we’ve found in North Houston.

This pic does no justice. This potato was off the chain! I also got a pound of brisket and it was full of flavor, tender and moist. The owners were super nice also. When they found out we were staying at the hotel behind the restaurant they told us to bring our kids and let them play on the playground at the restaurant. Total for brisket and potato was about $40. I’m good with that!

This is a chopped lean brisket sandwich. Can someone please show these people how to chop brisket for a BBQ sandwich properly? No one wants giant cubes of TOUGH brisket. Plus they chopped it from the fatty and lean side, totally ignored my order. Plus it taste like liquid smoke. Some of the worst, most undercooked BBQ I’ve had in a while. $14 down the tube. Barely any meat and the meat is tough and disgusting

Good enough BBQ joint. Order from the board, grab your grub and find a seat. It’s as simple as it gets. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The beer was cold and went down smooth.
