Tonight my fianceé and I tried Times Grill at the bar area for the first time since moving to Slidell. Let me say we did not know they close at 9 when we arrived at 8.
We ordered the raspberry lemon drop martini which was delicious!!! My fianceé ordered a cup of chili which was lukewarm and sweet (she didn’t like it nor complained). I ordered the jacked up burger but my onions were not sautéed, my cheese wasn’t melted, and the onion rings were not good. The bartender was rude to us and was not welcoming at all. She took our orders and did not come back to check on us not once! When she bought our food we noticed that the utensils bought with them were dirty and had to request plastic. We spoke about our dislikes to another employee that was willing to help us, we really appreciate that Hannah. I’m not sure if the negative review is because of the timing we went or because we just wasn’t welcomed. Hopefully your experience will be better

Went to Times Grill and spent almost $50 for two burgers, fries, one mac and cheese, and two drinks. Way overpriced for what we got.
This place had really positive reviews, which is why we went. I honestly don’t understand why.
The burgers were bad. No flavor at all. They needed salt badly. Garlic, pepper—anything. They tasted like frozen Costco burgers, and the Costco ones are better. Just bland.
Fries and mac and cheese didn’t save it. Nothing stood out.

The food though was absolutely TO DIE FOR.
I got the burger since it was my 1st time eating here with lettuce, pickles & onions with coleslaw. The misses got the Shrimp Ranchero wrap with fries. Our food arrived still hot, filling our home with aroma that alerted even the pets. My burger was delicious, cooked as ordered & juicy on thick perfectly grilled slices of sourdough. The coleslaw was definitely not from a bag or commercially made. It instantly skyrocketed to #1 on the taste charts in my opinion. The 1 single bite I had to steal from my partners plate inspired me to get my own next time. The fries & dipping sauce also hit home runs with their efforts. Overall I will CERTAINLY return time & time again only in person this time. Kudos to this restaurant as well as their staff.

Serving the meanest burgers in town is this rock solid foundation on Front street. Right around the corner its Times, now one of two, where the crew on top of it all, makes any day or night right. Spot it right next to the train station in Slidell on front street and ask for the lovely Darby holding it down at the bar. We’ll be sure to see her and the rest of this colorful cast now bringing the heat. Keep those boys in check Ms Darby. Im sure we’ll be seeing you soon.

The service here was decent. Food is hands down one of the most tasteful places around town. Drinks were ok at best. The atmosphere here is laid back, more of a lounge/sports bar feel.

Great food, great service! For my first visit there I was very pleased. Their batter was a great texture and super flavorful on the mushrooms, doodads which are thin onion rings, and chicken sandwich (which was massive!). Our waiter was super friendly and patient with my daughter while she made her order with him and they have children’s menus with crayons. They have handheld systems to input orders which makes everything 10 times faster so they really pump out the food during rush hour.

I’m giving times a 2 star! We have been going to times for a long time, never really an issue really u til tonight I got my bill. We always get cheese fries always have and tonight when I look at the bill the fries were $14.78! That’s absolutely ludicrous. My wrap I ordered was $14.99 but cheese fried were $14.78. We I asked the waiter if it was a mistake he said unfortunately not it’s not, you ordered an extras sauce too which was .75 cents ( that’s crazy too) I said still even without the sauce it was $14.00. They have never been $14.00. No they are not listed in the menu or the piece isn’t either. Mozzarella sticks were $11.00 which also imo expensive. And I only got 4! The waiter did say please fill out a survey and I did. He also said the owner keeps raising prices every 6 months and good bit of consumer are complaining and noticing the price increase. Honestly if the price increase still happens I will not return to times for all I care I can close. Our end bill for 5 people, 3 adults 2 kids was $124.00 too much!
