The dining hall conveniently located in the Carter Caves complex. Seems to have finicky service hours based on the signage at the gift shop, but we were able to get lunch after the cave tours. It was buffet only at that time, but the restricted selection meant the food quality was really decent compared to most buffets. Huge dessert selection.

I tried their breakfast. The eggs were brown and gray and in one solid chunk instead of scrambled. A disgusting waste of $10.
I decided to give the restaurant another chance the next day when I ordered Mac n cheese, hush puppies, potato salad, and coleslaw. I found out they were out of Mac n cheese and coleslaw after I had already paid. It was early afternoon and I thought it was strange that they were already out of certain foods before the dinner rush had even started. The server was very nice and gave me extra hush puppies and some strawberry cheesecake instead.
As you can see from the picture, the hush puppies were rock solid from sitting and then being refried all day. The potato salad was okay. The fries tasted how they looked, and the hot grease from the fryer melted through the styrofoam and leaked. Unfortunately the cheesecake wasn’t actual cheesecake. It was mushy and tasted off, so I threw it away.
Tldr: This entire restaurant needs an overhaul. Everything is overpriced and the quality of food is horrible. We will pack our own food next time.

My family just ate a very good lunch here. I had the fish tacos and I asked to soft shells instead of the fried ones but other than that it was very good fish. Good portions too! Very pleasant Atomsphere in the beautiful Carter caves park.

The food was AMAZING! We had the server with the braces. Horrible wait staff. We waited for 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. There was one other 2 top table. Food took a while but worth it. Hostess was kind but our server was not. Oh, it was FREEZING INSIDE.

Bad service, the food was just awful, and it all took forever. My meal was the grilled chicken breast, vegetables mix, and side salad. Of the 3 items the salad was the best, after I removed the rotten tomatoes. The grilled chicken “breast” was waaay over salted and was just so small! I’m lucky that I ordered two because I would have left hungry. Vegetables were as soft as mashed potatoes. Neither the chicken or the veggies were warm.
Unfortunately, there’s no other restaurants near the resort. Fast food is a minimum drive of 15. Next time I’m getting McDonalds.

The food was generously portioned and very tasty. The buffet was kept full and fresh. The servers were friendly and accommodating to our group of 10. Love the squirrel feeders outside the window, they are amusing to watch.

The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. The only drawback was that after my husband got his burger and fries, he asked for ketchup. The server brought out a cup of red concoction of tomato soup. After trying it, my husband asked if there was any real ketchup. The the server confessed that they were out and so they tried to make some. She should have told him that up front when he placed his order instead of trying to pass off something else.
