Was a bit disappointed.

Got the Peking duck as it seemed to be the popular item. It did not disappoint and was our favorite item. We also got the dry sauteed green beans, xiao long bao, and Couple’s Sliced Beef and organ in Chili Sauce. The other items were alright. I would only go back for the Peking duck.

Everyone truly has different palates because I did not care for this place, but my family and friends really enjoyed it. We ordered the Shanghai xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), shumai, royal chicken, ho fen (flat noodles), Chinese broccoli, tripe, chicken feet, and tempura shrimp balls. The food tasted decent but did not really stand out to me. The only thing I really liked was the tempura shrimp balls because they were not stingy with the protein, and the crispness was great! I also liked how the dim sum items came out in a square steamer tray instead of the traditional circular kinds. That sound out to me, and I liked how they were different from other restaurants. However, I still think there are better places to get in Dallas so I don’t think I will be returning. It does not hurt to try this place to see if you will like it! You might enjoy it like my family, or you might be like me and not care for it!

Pecking Roasted Duck is 5/5. The duck’s skin is perfect, crispy but not oily.

Peking duck is okay, mapo tofu taste exactly same as boiled fish. Pork rib is fine. All food are little salty.

Stopped by on a whim with a friend for lunch. We decided to get a sampling of things. The dry fried green beans were good, and despite the warning that it was spicy, and being a total spice baby, I very much enjoyed them. They actually were not that spicy. The black truffle fried rice had a really nice truffle flavor. The Cuttlefish was overcooked, but had a good taste and sauce. It was not too spicy either. The pork and chicken dumplings were okay, but I was NOT a fan of the vegetable ones. The robot server was adorable, but loud.

Ok roasted duck. Food kinda expensive. The mongolian beef was very chewy; don’t get it. Xiao Long Bao was tiny (finger food). U would not come back.

Food is delicious. Staff is attentive. My husband and I have been coming here since they first open. And this was my first time taking my older sister. She and I both loved the duck. Crispy and flavorful. The seafood soup with tofu and xo sauce is my husbands favorite. Filled with scallop, shrimp, fish. We ordered the bbq pork lomein for my neice which she enjoyed. They have huge round tables for family dining, definitely want to bring the whole family here one day.

I had high expectations for this place but I was fairly disappointed. Location and atmosphere is above average than most Chinese restaurants. They have comfortable seating and restaurant is very spacious. In terms of food, I’ve had better at a local mom and pop place. Peking duck is good enough, crispy skin and flavorful. We ordered soup dumplings 2 way, traditional way is okay; nothing really stand out from the rest. We got the black truffle dumplings and I didn’t taste any truffle, actually it was a little dry. I do suggest the Fresh and dry scallops fried rice, the best dish out of everything we ate. Crispy BBQ is not what it sounds, it comes out as just deep fried pork, a little bland in my opinion. Hot and sour soup was cold when served. We asked them to reheat in the microwave. Service is decent and friendly. For a Monday lunch, they were not very attentive since we were 1 of 4 tables in the whole restaurant. Overall, decent Chinese cuisine but we won’t return anytime soon.

Dumplings and scallops fried rice were delicious. The other two orders (cold beef plate and sweet braised pork were not my favorite flavor)
