Ordered take out. Two pastor tacos and two carne asada tacos, with a side of guac. Super friendly service and food was fresh. They put tomatoes in the guacamole, that’s a love or hate topic for alot of people, but personally I like tomato in my guac. Salsa verde had a nice spicy kick to it, just the right amount of heat. If i’m ever back in Lincoln, I’ll definitely visit again!

Date Night

I totally love Salvadorian food ❤️. Hard to believe but this was our first time at Lincoln’s OG Tia Lety’s! We went later, during a local game so for a bit had the place to ourselves. Chips and salsas were brought out immediately while we decided on All the things.

Our server was probably a tad confused with our random order of items that quickly filled the table . My husband got a Pork Tamale and Pupusa, each nicely filled. Also a Beef Sope which was piled high and I’m pretty sure his favorite thing of the evening. Lastly some Plantain Empanadas filled with pudding. I could only have a bite but he loved them as did the childrens who ate the leftovers!

I Love Pupusas! Decided on a plain Cheese plus the popular Loroco and Cheese. So yummy! First time having a Sweet Corn Tamale, it had a really mild flavor, almost dessert like for me, would totally get again. Me and Fried Plantains are like BFFs so that was a no-brainer. Also the Scrambled Eggs with Veggies. I’m not sure why these are so different but they are so addictive!

More diners trickled in during our extended stay and there was a revolving door of people grabbing take-out. My husband ordered 4 more Pupusas (Loroco, Garlic, Jalapeño) to go. Norma was very sweet and patient with my interrogation of the menu. Fantastic dinner!

Glad they moved into a new and bigger space; however, the service on a Sunday afternoon was lacking. Three different servers came by, and the bathrooms could use a deep cleaning. However, their food always slaps, and I love their pupusas and tacos. The enchiladas were good, too.

Service is very slow, and price is changed when you going cash registration, They charged me nearly $3 in extra credit card fees for each item without even asking how I wanted to pay. I don’t know if we ate a meal or were ripped off; it was unnecessarily expensive. 2 facitaj + 1 beer I paid $52
A better quality meal elsewhere wouldn’t cost more than $40.

The Pupusas are the best in Lincoln. They always remind me of home. I had my usual but the new options sound good.

Ok. So in all honesty, first time I went here I was unimpressed. But, some friends asked me to go again and I obliged because it was her birthday. I must have just been off the first time, because the second time I loved it. Will definitely go again.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Tia Lety’s. I ordered a pork tamale and a torta. Both were excellent, and I enjoyed the free chips and two salsas they gave to the table for free. My only gripe was that the service was rather slow, and we spent quite a bit of time there. The workers were friendly and the space was clean. Looking forward to coming back sometime!

Absolutely amazing restaurant! If you are looking for an authentic Salvadoran restaurant this is THE place! They offer Salvadoran food with some Mexican options. We just discovered this gem but we’ve been already there twice! So many delicious options to try! They offer pupusas, yuka, pasteles, tamales, platano frito maduro…amazing! The staff is really friendly and the service is fast. Added bonus: the music is great! Is you are in Lincoln don’t miss the opportunity to try this place. I cannot recommend it enough!

The Salvadoran food was great. The Mexican food was mediocre, the ambiance of the Japanese steakhouse was hilarious. Get the pupusas and leave it at that.

They could fix the lighting. 4/5 stars.
