We had such a wonderful experience at Sushi Kingdom in Phillipsburg and will absolutely be back!
I went with my 10-year-old daughter, and this place was incredibly welcoming for both adults and kids. She loved the shrimp sushi, gyoza, and edamame, and a small detail that really stood out to me was that they provide sushi helpers. That may seem minor, but it made her feel much more comfortable and confident eating her sushi, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable for her (and for me!).
As for the food—everything was excellent. I loved the salmon and tuna sushi, which were fresh and flavorful. The spicy snow crab roll with gyoza sauce was a standout and packed with great flavor. The shrimp shumai was honestly some of the best I’ve had—perfectly cooked and delicious. The shrimp teriyaki was also amazing, super flavorful and cooked just right.
On top of the great food, the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. They were more than willing to answer questions and made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of the entire time.
Overall, Sushi Kingdom is a fantastic spot for a family meal or a night out if you love sushi and Japanese food. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere—highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I got the all you can eat and pretty much tried everything from the Miso Soup, Pepper Tuna Monster Roll, Godzilla Roll, Rock and Roll etc! It was absolutely outstanding and great prices. The service was fantastic too! The best Sushi place in the Phillipsburg NJ area. We will 100% be coming back again.

I stopped in this restaurant for lunch. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked into a spacious restaurant that was a little busy. I was sat and served by Rita. They have all you can eat for one price dinner and lunch menu changes $26.99 is the weekend price which is a great deal! I ordered:

My boyfriend and I got the all you can eat dinner. He wasn’t sure i would like it there since I don’t eat seafood. I actually really enjoyed it. I tried the tempura chicken roll and the mango avocado classic roll (both do not contain any seafood). I liked both. I also enjoyed a salad, an appetizer, and some hibachi steak and hibachi vegetable noodles. We both enjoyed everything we ordered and would definitely go back. Also, I’d like to note that the service was very quick and the waitress was very attentive and very helpful when we had questions for her. I highly recommend for those who like hibachi and also love sushi rolls. The menu has a lot of selections! We will definitely be going back.

Am I jaded from NYC food culture, or was the sushi the wrong temperature or not the best fish, not completely sure. There was a lot of pick ups when were were here. The food was ok, basic rolls/sushi were off. It was affordable. Bathroom felt dirty. Overall…ehhh….I won’t return. But if this is yout local spot, I am sure it’s great! Staff nice.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this place! Everyone that works there is great, the place is always so clean and nicely decorated, the food is delicious and you if you go for lunch, it’s a cheaper price for all you can eat. We drive 45 minutes to eat here. Everyone is also always so sweet with our 17 month old. He got a free scoop of ice cream last time we were there. I highly recommend!

Is definitely the best all you can eat sushi restaurants in the area. It is not a buffet but each one of the dishes are made fresh. A variety of sushi, sashimi, soups, appetizers and drinks. No need to go to a chinese buffet any longer. It’s a few dollars more but definitely worth it.

It’s not like your standard all you can eat sushi. You can have anything on the menu. You order from your waitress and they bring everything over, made fresh to order! Great salads- the seaweed salad is one of the best I’ve had! Can’t go wrong with any of them. The peppered tuna is amazing . So many rolls to choose from. They are BIG too. I suggest ordering a few to start and then you can add more. If you waste anything there is a charge. Hibachi is really good too. I should have taken more photos of inside. Lots of lanterns and umbrellas make it really beautiful. We’ve been a few times and it is just as good every visit.
