We recently stayed one night at the Rose Hotel and had room service sent to our room from Thorn, the hotel’s feature bar and restaurant. We rarely dine at hotel restaurants but wanting to rest up for early morning flight, we ordered a burger from Thorn and settled in for an early night.

The food was really good. I got the Rose Burger. It looks simple but gosh it was very soft and easy for me to eat. Usually when I eat burgers At restaurants I always make a mess. The waitress even said that I made the right choice. Definitely was delicious. The fries was crispy just the way I loved them. My boyfriend got the shrimp tacos. He didn’t tell me how it was but he said he wish it came with some sort of green sauces for the shrimp tacos. The area is really cute and very cozy. Sat by the window because I wanted to see the snow falling while I had a nice meal with my boyfriend. I had a great time here. It’s inside The Rose Hotel O’Hare. If anyone does come here I recommend the Rose Burger.

Service was extremely slow and it wasn’t busy, only one other table with us. Took 20 mins to get only our appetizer of fries. I got the chicken and waffles and it was cold, along with the honey butter being hard. Chicken was crisp but not seasoned at all, it had absolutely no flavor. Hash browns were mushy slop. The only thing i would recommend are the truffle fries.

This place is terrible. My waffle was cold. The fried chicken tasted like it was fried in 3 day old grease. The butter they brought for my waffle was rock hard frozen. Told waitress. She brings me regular butter. Instead of the house made butter that was soft

A casual restaurant serving some delicious dishes nicely portioned sizes. The Cubano sandwich was good and could feed two people. Wait staff were attentive, professional, and food came quickly. Restaurant also has wonderful bar with a few TVs and is open to the rest of the hotel lobby. You can cozy up on the sofa next to the fireplace and grab a high top table by the windows and watch the planes land.

This restaurant was awesome! We came here for Father’s Day and we celebrated well. We first had the bao appetizer and it was the best we’ve ever had. Then, we have the Rose Burgers! They were amazing. The best part of our experience was Juan, our server. He was pretty awesome. His customer service was second to none. A beautiful restaurant with great service.
