The real roast beef was seasoned well and tender. Fresh cut fries were like what you remember diner fries used to be.
Best creamy slaw l’ve had in years.
It’s a small dining area which was handled with care from the waitress. I saw her offer dessert because she really wanted you to enjoy your visit. Homemade cakes and pies were less that $4 and you could make ala mode for $1. (Beat that Harrisburg prices of $8-$10 for desserts out of box.
You could really tell regular patrons love their place. I saw a lady clean up after her husband and place her own dishes to wait bin.
Please visit and enjoy!

Eaten here twice in the past three weeks. Each time I wished I would have ordered something different. My last meal I went simple with a ham and cheese omelet with home fries (for $12.50), and my omelet came with unmelted cheese stacked with cold cut lunch meat. No thanks? Service and local atmosphere is amazing. Just wish the food I ate was
decent.

We met our daughter here from PSU and had breakfast. Omelets were great, service was wonderful and the atmosphere took you back to good old days. Right next to a park with a decent playground. We’ll be back again.

Super friendly service (thank you Cheryl!) and excellent breakfast. Best eggs and pancakes on the whole trip! It is hard to describe the level of community warmth showed by every single person whether staff or customer. Next to a lovely community parking. Looking forward to stopping here again next trip!

They have awesome soft serve.

This was a great find. We was traveling and needed a lunch stop. It was right off the road and the other good reviews don’t lie. Small inside but the food came out fast and was very good. Ice-cream stand on the outside. Big portions of food so there was no room for dessert.
