We loved our visit to Thirsty’s in Dassel! The new owners are just fabulous and we totally loved our food! I enjoyed the Bourbon Burger with yummy, creamy coleslaw and Troy had the Red Rooster Burger with an over-easy egg and awesome, crispy seasoned fries. Sarah made me thee BEST Old Fashioned I’ve ever had around here, for real, with the most perfect big ice cube, excellent bourbon and filthy, amazing cherries! We highly recommend! And Cheers to many, many years of success, we’ll be back often! ❤️✨️

Stopped in for a drink and quick meal and ended up sticking around for a bit. Bartender was amazing, food was good and they know how to make a good drink! I had a Reuben and fries and my wife had mini tacos. The Reuben was not the best I have had but it ranks up there. A better bread choice would have made the difference! They had a band on the patio but we did not venture that far.

What an awesome little gem of a spot. Awesome food, the people working there were great – especially the overwhelmed bar tender last week. She was great, could have used some extra hands though, management. Patio was perfect for a bunch of go-karting sweaty knuckle heads like us.

Fast food, great customer service, wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. A great hometown hangout and for travelers to stop by and grab some food and a good time. Meat raffles with happy hours is always a must do in dassel!

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We came in and sat down at a table and the server did not even acknowledge us. A few other tables showed up and sat after us and she went up to them to bring menus/water/take their orders before us. We ended up having to go up to the bar and get our own waters. She heard us talking to the owner and then decided to bring a water pitcher to our table. In doing so, she slammed the pitcher on the table and ended up spilling it on our grandmother. We sat at the table for over 35 minutes before she finally came up to take our food orders. After an additional 30+ minutes our food came out and it was so over cooked/burnt no one finished their meal. We were able to snap the fries in half like potato chips. We told the owner that we were receiving poor service and she was very apologetic and so kind, but the server still had an incredible attitude problem. We won’t be returning to this establishment because of the service and food!

As a first timer, it’s a small little tavern but the people are great! Lady who was taking care of me was kind and hard working! Food was delicious. Had a bloody Mary which turned out great to the tastebuds! One of the regulars came up to me and chatted a little which was a good feeling, the way a bar should be! Great place for food and a place to chill with a goof drink and feel right at home! God Bless to all who work here!
