We met up with our friends and rode to The Thirsty Beaver in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. It’s a really fun biker bar with awesome, beaver themed decor. The only food they sell is pizza though, but they are delicious and they have really yummy, complimentary seasoned pretzels and chips. It just so happens they were having a raffle today and were also selling burgers and brats and chips. They have drink specials where you get these whimsical cups for only $6. (They sell them for only a buck if you want just the cup) You can get drink buckets too. They also sell Jello shots in cute little plastic syringes. They have plenty of shirts and jackets for sale with their logo, too. They have live bands often and had a bags tournament going on today. There is plenty of outdoor seating with beautiful lakeside views. They have an outdoor bar also. A really cool place and a beautiful ride.

Great place to watch the sunset over the lake. This place has an outdoor bar as well and live music. Unfortunately it is a cash only bar.

Great place for a good strong drink. The back outside area is very nice. The stage and bar area are covered so you can be out there if it’s raining.

I went there for my Brother in law’s surprise birthday party a few months ago. We were outside where the band was playing. Small place, but nice. Could use a few more bathrooms though. Nice location right off the lake. I could see it being a really nice place to be during the summer.

I can’t comment on the food here since we couldn’t stay long enough to eat. There was a storm brewing, and we had a long walk back. That being said, this is a great little bar with a nice outdoor music and dining area that overlooks the water. I also didn’t go inside the indoor bar because I had a dog with me. Yes, outside, they were dog friendly.
There is a second bar outside with friendly staff. I heard great reports about their pinaple margaritas. The bar, some of the tables, and the music stage are under a roof providing shade and shelter.
I would recommend friends to check this place out. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.
