Was blown away by the incredible Italian food here. I tried the Linguini Fra Diavolo. The pasta was homemade and the seafood was so fresh!!! Lia was my server. She was on point with everything and was so friendly. Might have to ask for each time I visit 🙂 highly recommend this place

Excellent food, management is exceptional, very nice restaurant and will definitely be back. Tuna and noodles are to die for as well as ceviche and lobster cake.

It is a must go restaurant when we are at the shore. The eggplant pancake appetizer is absolutely amazing. Both my wife and I have to each get an order so we don’t fight over who gets more, it is that good! As for the rest of the menu we have never had a meal that was not excellent. We already have reservations for the next time we’re down the shore

We didn’t have a reservation so we couldn’t get in until we spoke with the manager..he sat us but said we have to “be out within the hour”. Then Theresa our waitress came over with a bottle on the house and said relax. The homemade whipped butter with bread was unreal (That’s a must try if you come here) The food was really good and the price was reasonable. Cool atmosphere and setup as well. This is the place to go and Theresa is definitely amazing…

Tables very close. Bring your own. Parking on street. Portions were scant when came to meat. Had the Braised meat gnocchi and filet mignon risotto and found the meat in both dishes extremely scant. Especially for the price point. The dessert, a rice pudding special was fantastic. Service impeccable. Drink glasses very, very small. Picture the smallest water glass made. Also, the entrees came out a few minutes after ordered which makes me question of they just keep them under a heat lamp?

The restaurant has always been a favorite in my family for years. The food is amazing and always has been. Since it’s a popular spot, the service needs to keep up with the pace, which it does a little too well. I feel, as of recently, the service feels a little rushed. Also, the beverages are a little pricey and can add up if each person gets a drink. All in all, a great restaurant and a must-try!

I don’t understand why we could not be seated until the rest of our party is with us. The table is empty, reserved for us. This is not , in my opinion, good customer relations. The service was excellent, and there were no issues there. Tables are too close together, making for a loud atmosphere and no privacy. The food on the other was good, not jaw-dropping good. I had the crab and lobster ravioli, 6 for 36.00. It was a little priced, considering I could hardly taste either crustacean. It was, however, very tasty. Two of my party had had the lobster pappardelle pasta. Another pricey dish, as they both stated was bland. There was also a minimal amount of lobster meat. The halibut was excellent.

We had dinner with friends at Theresa’s South last night. We were seated quickly and the first thing we noticed was that we could hear each other! Theresa’s South is quieter than some of the other restaurants we have frequented in the area recently. Our server was LeeAnn and she was both very friendly and knowledgeable. Because of her allergies she couldn’t recommend many of the dishes first hand, but she told us what were the most popular items on the menu (we appreciated her honesty). For appetizers we shared fried calamari , the crab cake and the eggplant pancake. For entree’s we had a crab cake, the salmon, the gorgonzola filet and lobster pappardelle. We all thought the food was very good. That said the desert was to die for! LeAnn recommended the rocky road brownie with dulce de leche ice cream. We shared it and it was excellent. Glad we only ordered one!

We love Theresa’s South in Bayhead. ❤️ ALWAYS GREAT FOOD & GREAT SERVICE!!! It’s one of our favorite places. We normally dine outside & this Saturday night was our first time dining inside. What a great experience – we were seated in the Sun porch which is so quaint & cozy. This is a great BYO place with top notch food. We had the crusted fresh mozzarella and the roasted beets salad for our appetizer. This salad is our go-to appetizer every time. You must try it if you like beets. My favorite entree is the pistachio crusted salmon – it comes with potatoes, but I always get extra asparagus…..because it’s soooo good. My husband had the rigatoni bolognese – which was also awesome. The brownie with the gelato dessert was to die for too (we forgot to take a picture of it because we were so excited to try it). You must try Theresa’s South – maybe it will become one of your favorites too!!!
