I underestimated this little order-at the window restaurant. We got there and immediately saw that this place gets a lot of business. We got the fried shrimp plate with fries, a side of spicy fries, and a lobster roll. Everything was delicious and hit the spot. While we waited for our food, we saw many people leave with delicious-looking ice cream cones! Definitely a good spot for your sweet tooth too! There is a lot of outdoor seating and a cute play area with a cut-out for pictures!

Great little stop after seeing Scott’s nature preserve. The crab roll was amazing and my husbands burger was really good too! There’s a little play area in the back for little kids and there’s picnic tables to eat.

If you are visiting Deer Isle, dont miss out on a treat from There’s A Treat! Delicious, fresh seafood. Very friendly service. AND….. gluten free fried food! This is a very rare find. It’s not your typical take out. The fried haddock is amazing. Many other seafood options. Gluten free fried onion rings too. I have heard that their burgers and soft serve ice cream are great too. This place may not look like much driving by, but it sure is worth stopping at. Do not think you have to pay $100 for a tasty, fresh cooked, local food meal.

We vacationed in Maine the last 2 years (’23/’24- we are from Alabama). As we were checking out Deer Isle, we stopped here in 2023 to grab a bite to eat and loved the burgers. Last year, as we were driving back to Camden from Acadia, we made the detour again to eat at this joint and glad we did! Good food and great memories made. Picture is from 2023

Mediocre food, very overpriced! Definitely a tourist trap! $50 for a seafood basket. Scollops cut into 1/3, oily haddock and all crumbs. Only good points are for the friendly staff.

Stopped by for a cheeseburger. Had the TAT Burger with bacon. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Nice outdoor eating area and if you have kids, playground equipment. Fast service and very friendly staff.

Images currently on Google maps do not accurately reflect the food we got. There was no lobster claw on the lobster roll. It was $21 for a small portion of lobster on a hot dog bun and the fish n chip tasted like pre-frozen breaded fish. Both the fish and the fries were soggy.

Great little local spot where you feel like you’re coming home — no matter where you’re from!
Picnic tables, playground, and porta-potty on site, order at the window for hot food and delicious treats.
The vegan blueberry ice cream was to die for! Gluten-free topping options too in addition to hard and soft traditional ice cream.

The homemade pies and whoopie pies are a huge treat for sure! We ordered a whoopie pie, a slice of blueberry pie, and a slice of peanut butter pie to go and a hot fudge sundae to share while there. We’d driven by this place a few times during our stay and since it was always busy, decided to give it a try. But to be honest, after eating the sundae, I wasn’t going to leave a review as the icecream was a little grainy. But the homemade pies- OMG! Get yourself a carton of milk and loosen the belt! 5 out of 5 stars on all of them.
