Very tasty hole-in-the-wall bakery with a friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. Chocolate croissant was delicious, and the coffee (coconut roast) was amazing. My wife and I have been here a few times and need to start going more! There’s a monthly soup menu as well that we are intrigued by, and may try that next time if it isn’t breakfast time.

This was honestly the best birthday cake I’ve ever had. My aunt bought it for me. I had a silly request of Cat Vs Pickles theme because i LOVE to collect them and they delivered for sure!! The cake was chocolate with a chocolate filling and tasted delicious. I am so happy and everyone loved the cake. I recommend them for sure! i know i will definitely be coming here too!

For my wedding day, I had an unusual request. I wanted to recreate a 70 year old wedding cake. My favorite wedding picture of my grandparents was of them cutting their cake and since I was gifted the original wedding topper… my idea was formed and the great team at West Side helped bring it to life. I also ordered a traditional cake for my husband and myself to cut. The team did a fantastic job on both cakes (see pictures) they were beautiful and delicious. I do feel the communication from the bakery could overall be improved, but the cakes were absolutely lovely.

We just wanted to say a special thank you to the West Side Bakery for stepping in when we had a sudden issue with the person who was to bake our daughter’s wedding cake. That person had an unexpected injury that sidelined them just weeks before the wedding event. West Side Bakery came to the rescue and agreed to make the three layer wedding cake in the original flavors picked out. They even helped us make sure we were going to have enough cake for the entire party. They were a blessing and I highly recommend them for their service and for the fantastic tasting cake! Great job on such short notice. We will be back for future needs. Thank you once again!

I stumbled across West Side Bakery looking for some Mardi Gras treats, and LOVED their beignets and king cake (my wife said it was the best king cake she’d had). Since we don’t live super close we’ve mostly been by for special holidays, weeks, etc., and West Side has a fantastic selection for all of those times! Plus lots of good stuff for the rest of the year. Very warm and friendly service too!

I needed a cake in a pinch for a graduation party. I really didn’t want to go with Buehler’s or Meijer, so I decided to try this bakery since the photos showed nice looking cakes in the display cases. I arrived a half an hour before close, and they still had a good variety available. I decided to go with a German chocolate cheesecake. The woman at the counter even offered to write “Congrats 2023 Grad” on it, which took approximately two minutes. Whereas Buehler’s would have taken several days for a custom cake. The whole cake ended up being a little over $30 which I thought was fair for the quality. And the cheesecake was DELICIOUS! I would definitely rely on The West Side Bakery again for a cake.
