Went on a perfect 70 degree, breezy day. The staff was sweet and welcoming. The star of the show was the lobster roll. I prefer a cold lobster roll over a hot one and this one was perfect!! Wish they had more items on the menu. You do get a discount if you pay cash.

Cutest café right on the lake! The lobster roll and crab roll were pretty good, though I prefer the buns to be toasted and warm. The lemonade was delicious, and the ceviche was also pretty good. Great atmosphere with a cute park right next to it, literally! Hidden little gem in Chicago. There is LIVE music every Wednesday night. I felt like I was on vacation in a tropical place. My kind of vibe!

Awesome place to grab a bite! The food was good but the seating and environment were unreal. The restaurant has done a fabulous job of integrating into the park in a way that makes it feel like it has always belong there and doesn’t disrupt local access. The entire cafe is on the water, close enough hear the waves but far enough to avoid any sand. The seating is casual and comfortable.
The food is overall good. We got two salads and a shrimp roll in all. The tuna salad was great and comes with either chips or naan (was very filling), and the corn salad was similarly tasty and filling. The rolls are cold just as an FYI!
All in all, great place. I will be back!

Good place to spend the evening just beside the lake listening live music. This place is only opened during summer. There is a park just beside the cafe. The food was really good. Blackened Cajun Shrimp was delicious. I like the New England style lobster roll. Both of them came with chips. They have all outdoor sittings. Live music is in the evening starting from around 7 pm. All of my favorite things: dog friendly, vegan friendly, excellent customer service. Charming location with lovely view of the lake. My wife and I stopped by on a beautiful July night and sat at a bench with our dogs, gazing out at the lake. There was no music that night, so the place was mellow. We shared the Roasted Sweet Corn Salad, Sweet & Spicy Tofu Salad, and a meatless Beyond Italian Sausage. Portions are relatively light, ideal for summer al fresco dining. All the employees were welcoming and friendly, and worked hard to maintain the pleasant atmosphere, relighting candles and torches, wiping down tables, checking in.
The setup is great: you go inside and order food, then someone brings it to your table outside, so you don’t need to flag anyone down for a check.
