We were the ONLY people in the building and the wait was insanely long. I didn’t like the food, but I’m giving four stars because one of my sons did. To me, my waffle was completely inedible. But when I asked if that was how it was supposed to be made while tapping my knife on the waffle to show it was hard as stone, they stated it was made correctly and they get a 50/50 feedback of some who like it and others who do not. I can’t fault someone for making something their way and then I don’t like it. It was just wasn’t for me. I got the savory waffle, very dense, very very hard. I asked for no tomato, I got tomato. So I couldn’t even taste their Cajun spread because I ended up doing my best to wipe off the tomato guts so I could at least eat the chicken. I would have said something if someone had come to see how we were doing, but the service wasn’t the best. At least it looked pretty.

Excellent breakfast fare. It’s clear the chef has a distinct vision for the cuisine and it works. My chicken was well seasoned and the herb waffle was a perfectly balanced addition. It could have been cooked a touch more for my taste but I still cleared the plate. My wife had eggs benedict and loved it. You can get pork belly hash as a side upgrade on the savory breakfast items and at $2, or $6 as a standalone side, it’s a steal. Jammed with flavor.

The chicken and waffles are good, the only thing is you get a different amount of chicken each time. The pork belly hash had lots of oil sitting at the bottom. This time around they kept forgetting items we ordered. The service is better at this location compared to the other.

My waffle experience, one out of 10 me and my family give it a 10 nisi’s portions of food. Great price specially, during our epidemic here with the gas. Laugh out loud. I personally give this place a yes yes yes especially if you love waffles it had the just right softeners and crispiness I had their chicken and waffles. It was so beautiful. This is such a wonderful experience for me and my family kids love the food no complaints ate at all I can say is wow!!

We love the vibes and family feel – mimosas are always on point, and the food is always delicious. I like to sit at the bar area – I call it the chefs table. Very impressive watching magic happen in the kitchen. I think their secret ingredients are the genuine love for food, and customer service.

I almost gave them 5 stars. My food was amazing, great. Better than expected. I had the chicken and waffles. My date had the steak and waffles. The steak was tough as dinosaur knuckles and flavor less. They almost had me. It looked amazing anyways. The pork belly was on point.

We saw The Waffle Experience from downtown Sacramento showcased on Man vs Food. When we came to Elk Grove to visit family, we knew we wanted to try this restaurant. It exceeded expectations. The food was delicious. We had the following from the regular menu: We Found the Beef and Chicken and Waffles. Our daughter ordered one of the day’s specials, Strawberry Fields. We shared bites with each other because trying to make one decision was so hard. Our server Brandi was kind and efficient. Fabulous service and food!

You know it was not a good experience when the waiting time was the “main” course. 45 minutes for drinks, 1 hour and still waiting on food. People that came after us were served first, they even finished eating and paid. Inexcusable, unacceptable. Waiters passing by just staring at us. Our first time here and not the best experience. No food is worth that waiting time.

Looking for a new local place for brunch, specifically with gluten-free options. They ran out of GF waffles but still dined there. I’ll just bring that particular GF friend next time!

Very good spot for breakfast small, intimate setting in shopping center so get there fast. The food is unique with waffles made in different ways for different dishes. Great eggs Benedict and yummy mimosas. Reasonably priced. They even have an old fashioned breakfast (which is what i had in the pic) for those that don’t want an eccentric waffle breakfast.
