Prime rib was cooked to perfection unfortunately the smallest cut is 16oz.
The beef barley soup was hot and tasty.
The other dinner had the Mac and cheese large portion delicious hot .
The service was ok the dinning room needs work the booths can be uncomfortable we sat at a table and the wait staff keep bumping into my chair.

The Village Inn is hands down one of the best dining spots in Dracut — classic, cozy, and absolutely crushing it when it comes to food. I went all in and ordered the bone-in tomahawk, prime rib, and surf & turf, and every single bite was unforgettable.
The tomahawk? A showstopper. Perfectly cooked, full of rich, smoky flavor, and so tender it practically melted off the bone. The prime rib was just as impressive — juicy, flavorful, and carved to perfection. And the surf & turf combo? Absolute indulgence. The steak was buttery and seared just right, and the seafood was fresh and perfectly seasoned.
The portions are generous, the plating is beautiful without being fussy, and the service is just as great — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You feel like a regular even if it’s your first time.
If you’re looking for a spot where you can feast like royalty without losing that down-to-earth New England charm, The Village Inn delivers. Can’t wait to go back!

I am sure this is an excellent place for food because when I was there, it was almost full and everybody else was happy, but I apparently ordered the only bad food in the place. I had a barbecue baby back ribs. Unfortunately, the rib wasn’t barbecue the correct description should be baby back rib broil in water top with barbecue sauce. The rice was over cooked, I can’t eat anymore after 2 bite. But the french fry was excellent.

My wife and I ordered the baked Atlantic Haddock with baked potato carrots. We normally get the prime rib but, this time we got something different. It was the fantastic! The size of the piece of fish (thickness) was exceptional. Keep up the great restrauant quality and pricing!

The food was delicious and they truly have some of the best prime rib around. Unfortunately, the bar service completely took away from the experience. When we arrived, we asked the hostess if the bar was first come, first served and were told yes. We noticed two empty bar seats, but were told by other patrons they were waiting for a third seat to open. We didn’t want to cause an issue, so we chose a nearby bar table instead.
Shortly after, two more bar seats opened up. When we asked the bartender if we could move to those seats, she said no, claiming people were waiting for them. Meanwhile, the original two seats we saw when we first walked in were still empty. At that point, only five seats at the bar were occupied, yet we were repeatedly denied seating with no clear explanation.
The bar staff came across as rude and unwelcoming, leaving the impression they either didn’t want the bar filled or were saving seats for friends. It’s disappointing because the food itself was excellent, but the poor bar service really overshadowed it.

Went with my family for my birthday dinner, waiter was nice, service was really slow, restaurant was quiet so I don’t know why the delay. Everything we wanted to order we were told “all out”, no chowder, no prime rib. No potatoes of any kind.. no one bothered to clear the dirty dishes from our appetizers. We were piling them up on the table next to us. Asked for drink refills and it took almost half an hour before we got them. Filet mignon that I ordered was tough and completely flavorless was not worth the price of the meal. This was our second time at the restaurant. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

The marinated steak tips are out of this world! The best we’ve had in our lifetime and we’ve eaten worldwide! Order them medium and they will melt in your mouth. The home battered onion rings are phenomenal and not that frozen crap. The chicken tenders were fresh, moist, and delicious and they more than greatly satisfied my picky son! Simply an historic Inn atmosphere with huge portions of high quality and tasty homemade delicious food. This has been our recent favorite restaurant. Oh, and the staff are attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Great place overall!!!!
